I can't wait! It's about a two hour drive from where I live, and I am really excited. I simply cannot WAIT to ride Acrophobia. Unfortunately, Deja Vu won't be open. Doh! Anyway, If any of you have ridden Acro, please tell your story!

Er, Chang is @ SF Kentucky Kingdom. If you meant The Scorcher it's great! I haven't ridden it yet this year, but I will!
Now, the moment of truth had finally arrived. 200ft above loomed a structure so scary and yet so beautiful, you could not help but hear it call you name. Friends, I don't care how many freefalls, turbo drops, space shots, skycoasters, you have ridden over the years.....NOTHING compares to Acrophobia...NOTHING. It was so intimidaing....I had to ride it. Upon enter the newly build que house, you can read actual facts of tall structures compared to this ride. As we move through the line, my heart began race and before I knew it, we were on it. The best way, I think, to describe to seats is to compare them to the Georgia Scorchers. Think bicycle seats, but wider. You are literally hanging by your privates people. It seats 30 people around the ring. Once to attendents give the thumbs up, get ready for an elevator ride straight from hell. As we ascended the tower, my girlfrind was screaming so loud and I don't blame her 'cause I was with her doing the same thing. Think about it 200ft in the air, feet DANGLING {yes, there is NO floor!!!} And you ARE STANDING UP. Intense....just a little bit... As we neared the top, the ride slowed to a mere creep the rest of the way up. At this point, all the seats TILTED FOWARD 15 DEGREES!!! You have NO CHOICE but to look at the ground if you don't close your eyes. And so we wait{praying}...and wait{hope}...and wait...and wait...then without warning....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHH!!
It seemed like we were falling forever. Whoa. what a rush. It is an absolute must no matter how long the wait may be.
A ride attendent at Acrophobia said that the gyro car will start to spin around the tower on the way to the top starting this coming Saturday May 19. That will be great to see as will. It was a great ride without it even spinning towards the top.
