I've always had the dream that once I'm old enough, and have enough money that I would tour the best parks in the states. What parks would you choose to make the ultimate trip?

Well hopefully, over a few years, I have the ability to tour the U.S. and hit every park in the country, and ride virtually every coaster at the park. That would be sweet.
I would skip SFKK, its about the worst park I've ever been to. Since you are going to Cedar Point you will get to ride the mirror image of Chang (minus a corkscrew) and its honeslty not worth the drive. Instead go to Holiday world... They have two solid woodies...
It's an interesting philosophy, but what about all the other experiences out there? Do you really want to just forgo the experience of Epcot's Test Track (when it's working)? What about Spiderman and the Hulk at Unversal Islands of Adventure? For that matter, can you honestly say that, given the chance to go to any park, you wouldn't want to try Men in Black: Alien Attack? You'd skip SeaWorld Orlando's Kraken? SeaWorld San Antonio's Steel Eel and Great White? And Busch Gardens... don't get me started about Busch Gardens.

Please understand--I plan on visiting Cedar Point for a few days sometime in the future, but there's lots more out there!

I'd at some point like to check out almost every park in this country and a few in other parts of the world. Now a couple bits of advice for my coaster loving friends... Tim Santa Cruz- I would if possible do the trip the other way around. Why start off great (Cedar Point,SFWoA) and end up going to a crappy park (SFKK)?

Medusa1861- skip JazzLand, I've been there, you won't miss much. They only have two coasters for us, I'm not including the two kid coasters they have. They have a space shot and turbo drop, that's it, you'll be bored in about an hour at most. The one coaster is just your typical boomerang and the other, MegaZeph, is a CCI woodie that is somewhat similar to The Villian at SFWoA. As for the turbo drop and space shot, they are kind of short and don't offer much of a view from the top. Cedar Point's Power Tower is much better and wil make going to JazzLand pointless, trust me.

Of course, I aspire to go to all the biggies, but if it were me I would split it up into a series of trips: PKD, BGW, SFA, Carowinds; the Pennsylvania parks plus SFGAd; Ohio parks plus Holiday World; SFGAm plus Michigan's Adventure and Big Cheif's; Texas Parks; and California Parks

The summer when I graduate from highschool and before I go to college I am renting an R.V. and taking a bunch of other guys and going to a bunch of different parks. I will be traveling to all the Six Flags parks(except SFAW and SFEG), all the paramount parks, IOA, and some of the Cedar Fair parks. I'm saving up money for it right now.

whats wrong with sfaw? Its a nice park considering all the rides are mostly used. Texas Cyclone is a whole different woodie. Has to be in the top 15. Its celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

Medusa, you don't want to go to Dixie Landin' unless you're intrested in a Vekoma Boomerang and a Jr. Galaxi coaster.
