View Full Version : Would you ride?

I was wondering if you guys would ride ALL the coasters you make in RCT. Even extreme intensity rated ones.

Almost all of them. Sometimes when I get bored I'll build a shuttle looper with just a small ramp. Then I'll fill up a train and send them to their deaths.

All the ones except for the killer ones (i.e. blast off shuttle loop ) or the ones that drop over 100 feet and then have sharp curves. I also might not go on the stand-ups if they seem to rough...otherwise I would go on everything.

Yea, except the one with 23 positive g forces.

I too can be a sadistic designer...
Sometimes you get frustrated when no one much will ride your coasters with an intensity over 8 or so cos you *know* it is not like this in real life... so I build shuttleloops just to watch them crash.
Watching the towers crash when you set the speed too high is fun too...

I too would ride all of my rides except for the Death Coasters.

I would ride almost all of my coasters. The only one I wouldn't ride is the wooden coaster with an intensity rating over 31! It includes 30+ loops and 5-10 sharp turns after a tall drop.

I work hard on building rides that are at least semi-realistic. So yes, I would ride pretty much every coaster I've built in RCT.
In fact, several of them I really wish that I could ride!

It's also fun to drown the peeps. Lower a few square's of land, have a path go in, and have a do not enter sign keeping them from getting out. After a few hundred peeps get trapped, raise the water level and enjoy!!

I would be nervous to ride my coasters, but then my little sister would push me on, and I'd have a great time.

I would ride every coaster I've made except for one. My friend and I were over at his house and got very bored so we built a steel twister roller coaster that filled up all of airid heights and underground, too. It had at least two hundred inversions and 14 barrel rolls in a row, but, strangly, the game stops counting after 31 inversions. We made it get intensity of over 40 on a scale of one to ten!!!

All of them except for the ones that had over 10 gs or the ones that crashed.

Anything but the ones I purposely make with 45 intensity, 27 Gs, etc and the shuttle coasters with jumps.

Everyone except the coaster i made go 203 mph

Im with coaster canuck its fun to make those death ones especially an S&S space shot ride going 90 with a height of like 5 ft. But yeah I would!

06-04-2001, 09:06 PM
I would ride all of my coasters because none have an intensity rating over 10.00.

06-06-2001, 09:13 PM
i would ride all my coasters except the ones that are built for the sole purpose of killing an angry guest. i keep them realistic so they all look pretty tempting. im mailing some ideas to B&M(haha) to see if they like them! (fat chance!)

[ This Message was edited by: coastakid on 2001-06-06 21:14 ]

I try to build coasters that would actually be fun and not be toataaly crazy, so yeah I would ride them all. Well, the only ones I wouldn't ride are the ones that are not finished correctly, a hill is too high so the coaster can't get up the hill, so it falls backwards crashing into the one running behind it. I love how they explode into a ball of flames as if they were running on gasoline or something. Wouldn't it be a nice touch if after the coaster crashed, people that were on the ride that crashed would run around the park still burning. Ok, I'm weird.

yeah, most of them, though i don't know about my fav. one of all time, i made a hyper (213ft)that did 12 inversions, and it was rideable(very high)but i don't think i would want to ride that sort of ride!

06-07-2001, 08:33 AM
DUDEuNOthatDUDE, how did you make the coaster go 203 mph?!?!

06-07-2001, 02:27 PM
I would ride all of them except the ones that are so intense that they would kill you. And there's this bobsled one I made, it got a great rating, but I'm pretty sure that in real life it would crash. One way to make a coaster go really fast is to build a steel twister, and have the first hill a launched lift hill all the way up, and make it as tall as you can. Then, do the same thing with the next hill, and the next, and the next.....

[ This Message was edited by: JD on 2001-06-07 14:30 ]
