Ben Kingsley all the way in this category. I'm probably the only one here that saw Sexy Beast, but believe me he deserves to win.

I have to say Ian McKellen. He did a great job in Lord of the Rings.

This is a very close category, i thought all four of the ones i saw were great
Ben Kingsly was fantastic and powereful in Sexy Beast
Jon Voigt was just one of several incredibly strong performances which carried a medicre movie
Ethan Hawke was incredibly underrated as the newbie in training day.
But the cake goes to Ian McKellen for his fantastic turn as the Wizard in LOTR
Even though i thought viggo mortisson also gave a great performance as aragon in LOTR. At the end when he was holding Boromir (tear)

He must win!! He is my favorite actor!! If he doesnt win this I will be so mad. He did such a good job in the film. If he wasnt in that film, Lord of the Rings would have been a complete failure.

Absolutely Ben Kingsley. He was magnetic.

I have to say that Jim Broadbent was really great in Moulin Rouge too. That was an awesome performance.
