Gosford park had the best art dorection by far out of these, but I haven't the faintest idea of who the Academy likes.

Gosford park had some really great sets and the New Zeaqland Backdrop for LOTR was a great choice. Muolin Rouge had some very colorful sets as well. picked Gosford park, but I have no clue.

This is probably one of the strongest categories this year. Does it strike anybody else as odd at how fantasticly foreign this category is?
LOTR- Filmed in New Zealand, starring several Europeans (Gandalf, Aragon, Boromir) From a British Book.
Gosford Park- One word says it all BRITISH!!
Moulin Rouge- Filmed in Australia, about France, Starring an Aussie and a Brit.
Amelie- Its actually labled a foreign film
Harry Potter- They purposely tried to keep it as British as possible.

Now first we can elminate Potter because it was outdone by a certain other fantasy movie, Now the other four could all win it But my pick is Lord of the Rings Because the other 3 are similar in that they have a foreign extravagant feel, so they will all have the same voters.

Not just that but lord truely is the best, that seen when Arwen is riding from the Dark Knights, with frodo is simply and utterly majestic.

Well if Harry Pothead had to get one thing, I'd give it this. Lord of the Rings is going to get just about everything else so Ill try to move around and see if im right on this one.
