View Full Version : RCT2 wish and dont wish list

I would like first person riding and men and women in the game and i dont want any more stalls we have enough

05-05-2001, 09:54 AM
I would like to see the following:
*first-person view
*Intamin coasters - gigacoaster, impulse coaster, etc.
*more banking options on coasters
*steel track w/ wood supports (like Gemini)
*maybe a bit more realistic ride data (a 220 foot drop does NOT generate 90 mph in speed!)
*higher heights allowed with wooden coasters

05-05-2001, 07:36 PM
I think it would be cool to add 45 degree and 15 degree to the current drop angles of 30 and 60, and maybe 75 for select rides. With that kind of track editing, it would be good for the log flume to go up to 45 degrees. Also, I think water splashes for mine trains and rotating loading platforms for log flumes and rapids would be cool. You should also be able to adjust the flow speed for log flumes and make larger, maybe banked, 60* twisting drops on roller coasters. And, of course, first person view would be nice... (as the other people who posted here said)

05-05-2001, 07:52 PM
I've always wanted a first person view. RCT 2(If it ever happens) should be able to use the old RCT parks. Also, more coaster options should be available. Like flags,fog/steam,etc. I would also like to see tunnels, instead of having to raise land.
better rating system for realistic coasters
gates that work
people who don't get lost on double/triple-wide paths
and other stuff I can't think of now.

06-30-2001, 03:50 PM
(1) Textual interface for everything, including ride construction, to prevent tedonitis caused by using the mouse!
(2) A "save as" feature for sections of track. This would enable users to highlight all track pieces in an element, or series of elements, and save them as a single unit.
(3) Banked track on downward turns.
(4) Box-beam track style, like on Atlanta's Mindbender.
(5) Larger corkscrews, like B&M's "flat spins."
(6) Fan turns
(7) Butterfly loops, like the ones on Ninja at SFOG.
(8) Inclined loops.
(9) Diagonal loops, like the one on SFOG's Mindbender.
(14) Paramedics and first aid centers to assist injured peeps.
(15) Allowing designers customize the use of brakes and boosters, so that a train may pass through the station an indefinite number of times (forward or backward) before coming to a stop. This would allow for multiple laps on short full-circuit coasters, and allow trains to rock back and forth along shuttle coasters (a la Tidal Wave, Vertical Velocity, etc.)
(16) Loop-screw and wave inversion elements, like the ones on Tennessee Tornado.
(17) Diving/climing corkscrews, like the wraparound corkscrew on Drachen Fire.
(18) Ability to permanently change the "real" names of guests, so you can name all your peeps after friends, celebrities, etc., and have those names show up in every scenario.
(19) New thrill rides: Paratropper, Tilt-A-Whirl, Sooper Loop, Squirrel Cage, Sky Diver, Hammer, Spin Out, Zipper, Intamin Freefall.
(20) Wood coaster with steel supports.
(21) Ability to cover or enclose any section of track with different styles of tunnels.
(22) Chicken exits a the end of a queue.
(23) Recovery area beside the exit.
(24) Express Pass entrances for guests who are willing to pay more to avoid the wait.
(25) Optional catwalks and staircases for emergency evacuation.
(26) Working transfer tracks and maintenance sheds.
(27) Vekoma tilt-coaster.
(28) Premier launched coaster with top hat element.
(31) New stalls: snow cone stall, gyro stall, lockers, day care centers, photo booth,
(32) New path accessories: payphones, sprinklers, squirt guns.
(33) Themeing: marine, Amazon, Bavarian, Viking, Indic, Latin, Caribbean, Sumerian, Oz, Western, Midwestern.
(34) Parades.
(35) Ore cars for steel corkscrew coaster, for mine rides similar to Goldrusher at SFMM and Trailblazer at Hersheypark.
(1) Natural disasters: tornados, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tidal waves, etc.
(2) Zoo animals that escape and maul peeps.
(3) Environmentalists who picket outside the park to protest the use of wood in coasters.
(4) Multi-million dollar lawsuits filed by injured or orphaned/widowed peeps.
(5) Seasonal retracking of wood coasters.
(6) Insurance regulations requiring block brakes, headrests, and overhead restraints on all coasters.

I would like more coasters (every thing you guys mentioned) stairs on lifts and block brakes, transfer track, holding brakes, the ability to control the rides more deeply (i.e.: making emergency stops, controlling the harnesses, disabling the lift, brake control) walkdowns on lift stalls, ride operators, emergency stalls and medics (this is being implimented, i saw screenshots), and overall more realism. oh and DEFINETLY better ride supports. they were plain ugly.

Hey everyone...Ive got a good idea. Lets just add new wishes to this forum. I've seen the request for a 4D at least 7 times, and we have already seen a pic of it from Chris Sawyers site. ( http://www.chrissawyer.com/feature5.htm ) So lets just keep this to new requests only. Thanks Guys (and Gals)
