With Roller Coasters (with the exception of Kiddie Rides) I usually charge around $6 the first year, $5 the second year, and keep dropping the price over time (or as conditions dictate), but thats usually for the big rides. With everything else I usually go for a dollar more than the computer price, with the exception of transportation rides.

For me I just set the price according to how exciting the ride is. The more exciting the more I charge.

At the beginning of the course of a park, i just set a entry fee. You make more money that way because the number of people entering your park is higher than the number going on rides. Then after about a year and a half, ill switch to paying for rides because your attendance level has usually reached its peak.

For coasters, I usually charge 2 bucks if it's a really big ride, but usually 1.20

For the other rides, I usually charge 90 cents, and keep lowering prices if no one rides.

how do you people make any money? you should judge the price by rating, yes, but should also add a buck or two depending on what type of ride it is. if it's a regular steel, then the price by rating is ok. by it costs alot to make a steel twister, so you should charge more.

What I usually do is charge at least 6 bucks for coasters and huge rides of the like. As soon as peeps complain, I drop the price by a couple bucks, and continue the process until its so old nobody wants to ride it. Of course, this rarely happens, so I usually make the big bucks off it. For smaller rides, like a log flume, I charge between 1 to 2 dollars, and for the kiddy rides, 1 dollar. With a decent entry fee, I always have enough money, well, most of the time anyway.

I charge around 2 bucks for everything for the first year and make a solid profit of about $50,000 then I make everything free. Keeps the people happy.

On all my parks that i can I automaticly put a park admission. put for the others i leave the prices how they are and replace rides when people think it is too expensive

I always aim for realism in my parks. Nobody will actually pay $5 to get on a coaster, no matter how great it is, especially after paying 40 bucks to get in.

Entrance fee: $40-50, depending on size

Ride fees: Free!!

On-ride photos: 3.50
Food/Drink: 1.50-2.50
Umbrellas: 3.50
Park Maps: Free

How do you charge admission? A lot of the parks don't sem to allow you to charge admission, mostly in the add-ons anyway.

It all depends on the ride. Mostly though I charge as much as the peeps will pay. Water rides though I normally charge alot for. The peeps seem to pay alot for those. Escpecially if it's a desert map I charge alot for water rides.

I usually charge onthing for rides, but when I first start addmission is $5 and after every two coasters that go in I add $5. Also for all of you people who decrease addmision as the ride gets older, the AI is very dumb, so if you close the ride, bulldoze a single piece of track and then put it back there again as the same piece, the peeps are fooled into thinking you built a new ride!!!

I rarely charge admission. Most, if not all of the LL parks do not allow you to charge admission, so I just stick with that rule. I try to put things in perspective, as if I was to go to the park, and I wouldn't pay to get in and then to go on rides. Instead, I just boost up the prices on everything else...

Coasters - depends (Min. - $3.50, Max -$6.50)
Thrill rides - $1.50-2.00 (except for Go Karts I might charge a bit more...)
Gentle Rides - I usually leave these at the computer level...
Transportation Rides I usually don't build any of these except for chairlifts, but I usually charge $1.00-$2.00
Food I either leave it as it is or lower it.
Shops/Maps I leave these as they are, except that I lower the map coast to 20 cents.
BathroomsI charge 20 cents. I know this is kind of mean, but the guests don't mind...

It always seems to take a while for me to get money - I usually have to build at least 3 coasters before I start getting a lot of cash. Maybe it's because I don't charge admission, but it always works for me.

In parks where you can charge for park admission, I usually raise the fee $4 or $5 whenever peeps say my fee is too cheap. When I have a really big park, I never charge more than $65 because some peeps come to the park with not much more money than that. In parks where I charge for enterance, I make all rides free except Go-Karts (30c) and roller coasters (50 or 60c). The peeps don't mind...
I usually raise food and drink prices 10c from the original price. Photos usually $3.00.

In LL parks where you can't charge for park admission I make roller coasters $2.00 to $5.00 (Occasionally as high as $5.40) depending on the size, excitement, and age. Larger water rides I charge between $2.00 and $3.50 and smaller water rides and most gentle rides I leave at the default prices. Same for the smaller thrill rides, except for Space Shots and roto-drops, which I usually raise to $2.50.

You know that good Go-Kart track? Mega Track, or whatever? I can get away with charging $15 for that

Well,
I charge as much as the peeps will pay! One the LL senario with the Hypercoaster park that you have to get ticket sales up to $8000 I charged $6.00 for about 6 of the rides! I get $8.something for my Rapids ride and I kept a full Queue for it!

Thunderbolt

Well, as long as you let the peeps in the park for free, you can charge them twice the rides excitement for each ride. Example: if you have a coaster with 6 excitement, you can charge 12 dollars and get away with it for a while.

I never charge addmission to the park, but charge for the rides. I go by the excitement rating, rounding the price to the nearest tenth, or 10 cents. I normally charge $3.00 for on-ride photos and $.20 for the bathrooms. When I build a food or souvenir stall, I leave the price the same.

i keep free admission, then charge alot for the rides- if you get a good coaster going, and people love it, sometimes it can make more money than charging admission!
