A B&M inverted Zero G Roll! So Awesome!

The drop
05-05-2001, 01:19 AM
drops that are 70 degre4es or more are best
05-05-2001, 05:05 PM
THE FIRST DROP!!!!! IF ITS AT LEAST 55 DEGREES AND HIGHER THAN 100FT.!
05-05-2001, 05:06 PM
0 gravity roll by far
05-05-2001, 05:17 PM
Yes The zero-g roll has got to be the best element on a steel looping coaster IMHO
05-06-2001, 12:14 AM
I'm rather fond of the Immelmen, myself.
05-06-2001, 12:26 AM
What about that one of a kind cobra roll on Montu?
Cant argue with the barrell roll on inverts!
05-06-2001, 12:28 AM
Slip, that's a Batwing. I'd have to say Vertical Loop. It's the basis of all other elements.
05-08-2001, 10:33 PM
Me personally, I love the boomerang element like the one on the Steel Phantom. I think they called it a Butterfly element on the Viper at SFMM, but I could be mistaken.
05-08-2001, 11:01 PM
Boomerang and Butterfly are the same thing. However, a Bowtie keeps you going in the same direction you entered.
05-08-2001, 11:12 PM
The element I really like to see on a coaster is a lapbar. Because it usually means you aren't stuck wearing a horsecollar.

the zero-g roll on incredible hulk, especially with the launched lift.
05-08-2001, 11:28 PM
Definately the B&M Zero G Rolls. My fave Zero G Rolls:
3) Kumba - Decent for a sitdown, too smooth for me though
2) Montu - Inverts have better zero g rolls....and this ones rough, which is nice
1) Hulk - dunno if anyone will ever beat this 40mph in 2 sec launch zero g, that dives 100 feat into a cobra roll after...
i also like montus batwing, which is crazy, but smooth, just like most B&Ms
05-08-2001, 11:58 PM
Although I love the zero-G-roll, I'd have to say LIM or LSM launches are the most important (in recent years), since you can suddenly have a 60mph coaster in a LOT less space, which makes coasters more feasible in a smaller space.

Lots of laughs on this one, but I believe the best element are the new trains with nothing on the side of you looking down the lift hill. The first hill of Millenium Force at 80 degree angle, and all inversion elements of the MONTU at BG Tampa...The Diving loop is also a great element on Montu and likewise on the Medusa at SFGAdv.

Reverse freefalling from a vertical in-line twist on an inverted LSM coaster
05-09-2001, 03:57 AM
B&M Batwing, on Montu.
05-09-2001, 09:04 AM
I've always been a stinkser for the vertical loop. You get such an awesome feeling going through that thing.
05-09-2001, 09:06 AM
What the? I meant to say "sucker for the vertical loop. Guess I'm not completely awake yet.
06-29-2001, 10:13 AM
Dive Loops are awesome!
06-29-2001, 10:20 AM
Immelman on Talon ... any b&m zero g-roll, and the batwing on montu is awesome
07-04-2001, 11:29 PM
Near verticle drops
07-04-2001, 11:35 PM
for looper= hulks zero-g roll
for hyper= SROS at SFDL/SFA's 3rd hill, or goliath's helix.
I think the best element is the cobra roll on an inverted coaster. It is visually stunning and it's really fun to go through.
07-04-2001, 11:55 PM
The Immelman by far!!!
07-04-2001, 11:58 PM
The lift hill
07-05-2001, 12:06 AM
Hmmm, it's hard to decide. The best element would have to be the first drop because it's what gets your adrenaline pumpin'. It's even better if the first drop is one that goes straight down. The best inversion element would be the zero-g-roll because you get lots of weightlessness. I love a roller coaster with different kinds of elements thrown in!
may the FORCE be with you

I always loved the feeling of the double corkscrew the best, but honorable mention goes to the drop (MF - thank you!). And zero g rolls get the third spot on my list.
07-05-2001, 12:33 AM
Hmm...Id have to say an inverted batwing.
07-05-2001, 02:01 AM
All the inverted elements are great, but nothing beats a good first drop. It's the element that churns the stomach the most and is the most anticipated. Great coasters have great first drops (although there can be exceptions).
07-05-2001, 02:03 AM
How bout a launch? Those are pretty nerve racking!
07-05-2001, 02:04 AM
b&m zero g-roll and a batwing, im getting fond of the cutback from seeing pics of drachen fire... ive ridden the coaster years ago but dont remember the inversion
07-05-2001, 02:08 AM
my favorites are:
1. Cobra/Boomerang (like on Medusa (East))
2. Drop (like Nitro or Millennium Force)
3. Inverted Loop
4. Bunny Hop (Wooden or Steel)
5. Going into that mid-brake on Medusa East from the Last row, all the way on the left
07-05-2001, 02:24 AM
I would have to say either Zero-G roll or The near vertical drops (85 degrees or more)
That's true... i cant say i've felt anything quite like that launch on Superman the Escape.

07-05-2001, 04:31 PM
Heartlines spin rock. So do LIM launches.
07-05-2001, 09:29 PM
I like the Batwing, but my favorite is the B&M zero-g roll. I love those, they're so fun.
07-05-2001, 09:30 PM
The first drop is always goood and unexpected but zero g's are fun too
