its awesome fell free to IM me to talk about it

Yes, right now on my top 10(i've ridden about 50 coasters) I think it is at number 5. Very SMOOTH, good airtime on the drops.

That coaster kicks arse.
It ties for my favorite with Montu.

I have never had the pleasure of riding this but I have ridden Apollos Chariot and it looks about as good. The critics I talk to don't seem to like it that much! Whats the deal?
I've ridden both. I think the reason RB is not given the respect it deserves is because of the rides location. AC is located in such a beautiful location with the water and trees. RB is basiclly built on a parking lot with little landscaping. AC also has more drops and airtime, but if given the chance to ride it(Raging Bull) don't pass it up!

I like Raging Bull alot but it's my lest favorite of the B&M hypercoasters.
1)Apollo's Chariot
3)Raging Bull

Raging Bull is alright. It's a cool idea to have a steel hyper-twister but I'd just rather ride a regular wooden one. The layout is so much like Viper (which is basically right next to Raging Bull) but Viper is much better as far as I'm concerned. Maybe that one break that slows you down as you're going uphill bugs me too much. It just has a strange rythm to it as far as speeding up and slowing down.

Going to ride RB for the first time Friday and I am SO PUMPED!!! Have been drooling over pics of it since it was built and now I finally get to ride a floorless. Woohoo!

05-22-2001, 03:55 PM
I guess I'll be the one to tell FreakEBear - Raging Bull is not a floorless! It has the "minimalist" lap bar restraints and raised seating.
BTW, I has the pleasure of riding both RB and AC in their inaugural seasons, and I like RB better. I like how it twists back in on itself. I think the "critics" (what do they know anyway) unfairly dismiss the ride.

well, i haven't ridden it, but i have ridden goliath which has a very simular beggining, so i'm pretty sure raging bull would reside in my top ten

I also personally think that RB is better than Apollo's. I think I am just sick of the go out make a turn and come back design it is to predictable and borring in my mind. I think RB is right up there with millenium force and montu.

Although its underrated, it`s one of the best hypercoasters out their.

The Raging Bull is a very exciting roller coaster. It starts you off with a HUGE drop into a hole and subsequently launches you into a giant helix. Not only do I like the helixes and camel backs, but I love the way the ride finishes you off with a barrage of twist and turns. To me this coaster has the best of both worlds, the airtime and drops of a woodie, but the smooth delivery and ride of a steel, if you are ever in the Chicago area I sugges you ride it.

It's awsome. The first Hyper-twister.

It has airtime, lots of elements, laterals, Positive G's, headchoppers and speed. Along with S:RoS at SFNE, it is the most well rounded hyper out there. S:RoS looks appetizing!!

[ This Message was edited by: goonsta on 2001-06-15 18:25 ]
A great ride, it has an awesome first drop into the tunnel, its really cool when u stand on the viper exit and see the train fly into the tunnel, then when u turn around u see it fly out and turns, a great ride

It looks great.

Sadly I never rode Raging Bull, but that thing looks like one heck of a hyper. Just by looking at Raging Bull I can tell it's a wonderful coaster. Hope to ride it someday.

it looks really good and i want to ride it a lot. I only problem is i am in jersey. Nitro will have to comfort me for now. I like Nitro Better than AC because of the difference in air time. (Ejector is Better in my oppinion.) And the floater on the bigg hills ins kinda ejector. I love twisty steel coasters and i am sure that raging bull would be no exeption.

I have been on the Bull and the Chariot and I like Raging Bull better. It felt like more airtime for me and I like the design better. You are right though, AC is in better scenery. Raging Bull is my #1 coaster all though I have been on only 27. Apollo's Chariot is #5 for me.

Raging Bull is a really awesome coaster. Next time I will try to sit in the front and the back. I know the front will be fun but the back might be even better. It rates as my first favorite roller coaster at SFGAm.

I haven't been on too many coasters, but Raging Bull is by far my #1 coaster. It's awesome!

Raging Bull is perhaps the world' most underrated hyper. If B&M makes hypers this good, just think what a B&M giga would be like!

I love Raging Bull. It was my first hyper (I know, ten years after the first hyper), but it isn't quite as good as Apollo's Chariot. It is close though.

06-29-2001, 05:53 PM
my first hyper was steel force...but anyway, i think AC is better. i like wizzing by the trees and those drops are better
