Dude thats some awsome scenery. Where did you find all that stuff?

07-01-2004, 08:27 PM
Dude, that's really good! If that's just the entrance, I can't wait to see the rest!

07-01-2004, 08:43 PM
i used the NE pro-tour workbench so you can get all the scenery from downloading any of the pro-tour parks. today i worked more on the enterance plaza area and as you can imagine, it takes a LONG time to build with this amount of scenery so i probably wont even get around to building the rides for a little while. you guys should check out sites like www.rct2.com and www.nedesigns.com for more of this type of style and detail.

Thanks man, I think i just might pull out the old RCT 2 cd and blow off the dust. Can't wait to see more screens.

07-05-2004, 03:47 PM
well i built a little more and now have themed a lot of the inverted coaster. in this picture, you can see the station to the invert, the start of the lift, and the loop of the invert. leave some comments!

07-11-2004, 08:29 PM
well two people posted in this thread other than me and no one posted anything after my last update so it seems like you guys no longer care. if you actually want updates, make it seem like you want them

07-12-2004, 01:35 AM
From the small snippets you've shown us, it looks very nice. Lots of details too, although I don't know if you're capturing the Caribbean style atmosphere you're after. It has more of a Mediterranean/Northern African feel to it.

Looks good so far. Can't wait to see more. I love the loop coming from underground btw. Perfect.

What else do you have done? I want to see how it turns out.

That's so amazing! Where do you get your ideas of where and what to build?

I'm going to make up a new art form: RCT. and SFGAdv king is Van Gogh. I'm serious when I say this is by far the best themeing on a park. When will you be done the park?

07-12-2004, 02:53 PM

Great architecture you got there. None the less I don't care for the landscaping, it's way to jagged and random. The angles of those "jagged rocks" make them look extremily atificial. Just smooth them into the hill a bit and you're set.

Since when did you have these kind of skills? ;)

i think if i use flat sloped land, it would look too plain. i like the jagged rocks. and i've had these skills since i started the park and since summer started (so now i have time to put in details).

meowcoaster1, this may be the park with the best theming on this site but if you really want to see some parks that will blow your mind download some of the parks on this list: http://www.nedesigns.com/?ne=tour . i suggest #1, #2, #5, and #8 which i think are the best but every one on the list is simply amazing.

thanks for the comments

HOLY $%#@. Dude thats just awsome. I agree this is by far some of the best themeing i have seen on RCT. Great job. I want more pics.

07-12-2004, 11:47 PM
I've always thought NE's parks were overrated.

As for yours, the temple looks very nice. There's lots of detail, just don't over do it. The tropical theme seems to be coming out more in these pics then in the previous one. Good job.

Honestly, I don't like ne's. They're too fake and fairytale-ish yours is a mix of carribean and meditarranean, which is great. What's the park called, In my opinion, it could be Atlanits, that's what it looks like. Any more screens?

07-14-2004, 01:52 PM
Dude. that is some great work there. Might i suggest a Yucatan theme? IF you can put that temple thing in a convincing jungle, or in a plaza with some other like Maya ruins, that would be so awesome. whas great is that temple and all of yuor architecture looks like it was ed after some ruinous city you found in the jungle. oh, and by the way-

I'm going to make up a new art form: RCT. and SFGAdv king is Van Gogh. I'm serious when I say this is by far the best themeing on a park. When will you be done the park?

whens the ear coming off?

Any more things on the park? I wanna see it when it's done. Or at least some screens.

07-15-2004, 03:38 PM
yeah i got some more news for you guys. two days ago i was in the middle of building more and i had to zero clearances for something so i minimized RCT to get to the trainer. well after i minimized it, my computer froze and i lost everything......but i did make sure to backup the park about a week before. so i lost the castle and i lost the inverted coasters custom supports. so yesterday i went back and built the castle again but i made it bigger and with a differant ride. heres the COMPLETELY new castle and the steel looper which has a launched lifthill and a launch in the middle of the layout.

CLICK HERE FOR THE PICTURE (http://img38.photobucket.com/albums/v118/yeshli2nuts/new_castle.jpg)

If you actually look at the other parks on the site, I guarantee you'll like them. For now.....

uch damn photobucket... i guess i'll just have to resize the image to upload here...

07-15-2004, 05:43 PM
Your park looks awsome and the building has a great design btw how did you build a roller coaster inside of the building?

07-15-2004, 07:10 PM
btw how did you build a roller coaster inside of the building?

look at the picture

07-16-2004, 12:39 AM
Now that's some of the best coaster/architecture interaction I've seen yet. Superb job. In terms of percentages, how far along is this park?

Carowinds 73-03
07-16-2004, 12:44 AM
I agree. I have not seen anything like it or even close to it before. How long did it take you to build that?

07-17-2004, 10:58 PM
i dont really remember the exact times. the first castle took probably about an hour and a half but a lot of it was just staring at the screen thinking of what i can put where and doing all the landscaping. the second castle, since i already knew what i was doing, probably took me about 45 minutes but im still not done with it.

07-18-2004, 11:33 AM
Well keep it up man. Can't wait to see more screens.

07-21-2004, 11:58 AM
Honestly, I don't like ne's. They're too fake and fairytale-ish yours is a mix of carribean and meditarranean, which is great.
But honestly, parks like this are what your going to find at NE. You can see a similar style of building in people like Foozycoaster's, John's, or even leighx's work.
The fantasy style you speak of really only exists is a small percentage of NE parks. If thats not what you like, there are tons of parkmakers that vow for a more realistic approach (Posix, sacoasterfreak, Fatha', to name a few).

Anyway, as I said in your other thread, this park has indeed made gigantic bounds from your previous work skill-wise. I personally am not in love with this particular style...... I find it way too unstructured, and not planned out enough. But many other people will love you for it, in which case, you may have a very bright parkmaking future (and not just at New Element either).

Someone suggested there was a North African vibe to this park, thats something I had not thought of. This would work very well in a North African setting I think, considering you said you had not chosen any jungle foilage in the scenario editor, which would make an accurate carribbean theme immpossible. In the future I would suggest picking the general theme you are going after BEFORE starting the park, but maybe that's just me.

Thanks for giving the PT #5 a nod too, btw ;). There are probably a lot more worthy parks on that list though.

07-22-2004, 10:52 PM
yeah. this is a tilt-a-whirl surrounded by some archy. do you think i should keep those arch things going over the path or get rid of them? im kinda skeptical on them

07-22-2004, 11:35 PM
I like the way they look in that screen.

07-22-2004, 11:54 PM
I say the arches should be kept, they look good. And the architecture is fabulous. Just don't go overboard.

Carowinds 73-03
07-23-2004, 02:51 PM
Dang man, I can't get over how good you are at scenery. That is by far the 2nd best flat ride with scenery i have ever seen. TR:TR would have to be the first.

07-26-2004, 11:45 PM
Great work, keep it up. I cant wait to see more screens!

Montu Man
07-26-2004, 11:55 PM
Take away the arches they look dumb.

07-26-2004, 11:59 PM
they were gone a few days ago

Carowinds 73-03
07-26-2004, 11:59 PM
I would not take all of them down. Leave the one over the ride but yeah the ones over the pathway look a bit odd.

EDIT: Nevermind.

07-27-2004, 11:19 PM
any new updates?

07-27-2004, 11:26 PM
no. i will post updates when i have updates

07-27-2004, 11:28 PM
ok, i look forward to seeing them.

Jerry S
08-03-2004, 02:51 PM
Anything new on this park?

08-04-2004, 12:02 AM
i will post updates when i have updatesWhen he has something, he'll post it.
Of course, we all want to see more.

08-04-2004, 12:12 AM
well i've been working a lot on a differant project for the past few days. i've been working on the rct2.com monthly contest to build the best themed hypercoaster. i would advertise the small park with the hypercoaster (about 40x40 sized) but i dont want other people stealing ideas for the contest even though most of you people here at TN have nothing to do with the contest. if you want to see some pics, IM on AIM at yeshli2nuts. i'll post a picture of this park tomorrow as its too late right now to go find a good picture (12:10 and i gotta wake up at 7:30 tomorrow)

08-04-2004, 12:47 AM
Woah, that last screen was amazing! Too bad the arches are gone. I loved them. Maded that whole are fit in even more. Keep it up, and I can't wait to download this park! :D

08-04-2004, 01:44 PM
Since SFGadvking isn't posting his latest screen, I'll post it for him. This is the big castle in the other area of the park, which is an afterlife themed area. A flume ride interacts with the castle. The pic: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/yeshli2nuts/flume.jpg

08-04-2004, 01:47 PM
Wow, did you make that? It's awesome.

08-04-2004, 01:52 PM
Actually, he made it. I just posted the update for him. :)

08-04-2004, 06:37 PM
yes i did make that. normally i would mind if someone posted a picture like that (even if i advertised it somewhere else) for me, but since i was going to post that picture today anyways, i'll let you go for now. next time, just let me post my updates when im ready.

08-04-2004, 11:38 PM
I'm curious to see how that'll fit in with the rest of the park, given the abrupt departure from the Caribbean theming style. It looks great, though, and the details are, yet again, amazing.

08-04-2004, 11:53 PM
Those Pics are amazing. How long does it take to make that.

08-05-2004, 12:21 AM
not as long as you would think. once you got the style known, it just all flows from the begining.

08-05-2004, 12:28 AM
Once you know what you want to do, it doesn't take long to build the stuff. Its all about the planning.

08-05-2004, 12:31 AM
Well keep up the good work.

08-05-2004, 01:16 AM
Holy crap! That thing is awesome. At least an hour or two! Man that's awesome. Can't wait any longer to download this park now! :)

08-05-2004, 10:21 PM
where did you get the tilt a whirl?

08-05-2004, 11:41 PM
Probably from Amazing Earl's site.

08-05-2004, 11:54 PM
yup i figured that out.

i looked on that site but i didnt see it before he told me it was on that site.

09-26-2004, 02:58 PM
this park will be released tomorrow

09-27-2004, 10:33 AM
I'm definitely going to download it!! This park looks awesome!!
