<BR>Yesterday we visited Heide Park Soltau (Germany). The Park is located between Hannover and Hamburg. It is one of the largest parks in Germany an has an impressive number of rides in a wide garden like area. Here are the most interesting attractions in a short discription:

<BR>1.) Big Loop - steel lopping coaster
<BR>Manufacturer: Vekoma (NL)
<BR>Inversions: 2 loops / 2 corkscrews
<BR>
<BR>2.) Limit - inverted coaster (SLC)
<BR>Manufacturer: Vekoma (NL)
<BR>Inversions: 5 (roll-over / sidewinder / inlinetwist
<BR>
<BR>3.) Colossos - wooden coaster
<BR>Manufacturer: Intamin (CH)
<BR>Inversions: no
<BR>
<BR>4.) Schweizer Bobbahn - bob sled
<BR>Manufacturer: Mack (D)
<BR>Inversions: no
<BR>
<BR>5.) Grottenblitz - powered coaster
<BR>Manufacturer: Mack (D)
<BR>Inversions. no
<BR>
<BR>6.) spin'n'spew / flat rides:
<BR>Top Spin, breakdance, enterprise, rainbow,
<BR>magic, flipper, condor, 2 pirat ships, hully gully, round up, polyp

<BR>7.) water rides:
<BR>2 log flumes
<BR>1 rapid river ride
<BR>4 family water rides
<BR>
<BR>8.) transportation systems:
<BR>2 monorails
<BR>1 steam train
<BR>2 steam boats
<BR>
<BR>Finally I hope you got an impression of this popular german park. So if you ever come to Germany / Europe: Don't forget to take a ride (especially on 'Colossos' - it is an
<BR>airtime filled ride you will get addicted to).

<BR> I re-named your post just so people could find it more easily! BTW, how good is Colossos? I'm hoping to get out to Gemany later this year, so any info on how it's performing (it looks insane!) would be appreciated.
