Why don't you just post it on here. Get some one to host it and that. Photobucket or anyone of them.

12-19-2004, 01:22 AM
Now where do you remember seeing this picture?

12-19-2004, 07:07 AM
The one with the construction worker is on TN somewhere I remember that one.

12-19-2004, 11:54 AM
^ hehe thats a hilarious picture.

Is it just me or does it look like the brake fins are up in that picture? I thought they retracted down before the launch.

12-19-2004, 12:15 PM
that looks like it may be the brake run. if you notice in the backround there is just a lot of trees but no people. if it was the launch then there would be people in the backround or something noticeable.

12-19-2004, 12:21 PM
He's less than 225.....

Yeah, it is on the brake-run.

He's less than 225.....

Huh? What's 225?

12-19-2004, 01:30 PM
I would guess hes talking about his weight. Though that picture is funny.

It looks like he is a deflating inflatable.

12-19-2004, 02:40 PM
That looks like it would hurt if my cheecks were that pushed back. I wonder what they looked like on the launch! :)

12-19-2004, 03:57 PM
Wait, is TTD really like that? or is that picture photoshoped?

12-19-2004, 04:03 PM
no it is not photoshopped. thats really what happens on the ride but you dont really feel it that much.

SFOG Freak
12-19-2004, 04:04 PM
Yep, it's really like that. I'm really skinny, and don't have much gripable skin on my face, but it still ripples on TTD. 120 mph winds do that kind of thing...

I didn't think about that. I guess I just assumed it was the launch. :o
Definately a funny picture though. :D

I know the guy peeing is on here somewhere. I've seen it before.

12-19-2004, 05:21 PM
OH, I was like "man TTD must go more than 120" Because that looks like a wind tunnel almost! (I fel stupid lol)

Well is it the wind speed or forcefulnusee. Because if it is forcefulness, then Hypersonic will have more ripple face people.

Man. I wish you would have started this topic before we reformatted my PC a week or so ago. I had the picture of the construction working taking a piss saved...

I know who I might be able to get it from though.

12-19-2004, 06:17 PM
i guess it is a combination of both. going that fast just leaves your face behind and if you factor the air resistence in aswell then your face is left back in the staion and you have to pick it up when you get off the ride.

I wanna see the one of the guy peeing. That happened at my school: They are building many new sections so that the ninth graders can be with the rest of the high school, and a construction worker whipped out right in front of a classroom and peed into the corner. He thought it was empty and that no one would see, I guess.

12-19-2004, 07:40 PM
There was even a picture put up in that spot for a while after the guy peed there.

They had that picture in the Sandusky Register the day after media day. The reason that it does that are the eddy currents. A simular effect of it at a particular speed is called vortex shredding and is the reason the Vertigo is Vertigone.

12-19-2004, 08:11 PM
That picture is very funny.

That was the best Dragster pic. I'm glad someone found that.

As for the guy peeing, i have not seen that since construction. I would like to see that again but if it has not been found yet i guess it won't.

I have the PEE pic. I also have the pic from the next day wth the picture of the webcam shot on the wall and the same day with a guy looking at the posted pic on the wall. You know that guy never new about the webcam. I am still amazed that somebody actually was viewing the webcam at the right time. Anyway here are the pics.

I was looking at the pics the dates are March 27, March 30, March 31. The third photo is one I copied I dont think people have seen that one. (edit)

think we'll ever hit the 1000' mark?

Montu Man

One day, B&M will create a dive machine going off the top of the stratosphere. That will be the worlds first 1000' tall coaster.

12-23-2004, 03:31 PM
^that would be one awesome ride!

Johnny Upsidedown
12-23-2004, 03:41 PM
It was proposed to be built at 750 feet but was denied. 1000 feet would be cool.
And the enclosed train.

12-23-2004, 03:50 PM
^there is a seperate thread for that ride here (http://www.thrillnetwork.com/boards/showthread.php?t=32461&highlight=stratosphere)

12-23-2004, 04:10 PM
Ya I know figured you would like to see the pic anyway next time I will keep my post to my self.
please dont keep your posts to yourself. i was just letting you and everyone else know that if they are interested in that ride that is a thread all about it.

12-23-2004, 04:45 PM
Tee hee...I like my version of the guys on TTD better...sorry...I was in a silly mood when I made this...

12-23-2004, 04:54 PM
lol. I like how the cat has its hands up. But in a was its sorta cute...

12-23-2004, 09:57 PM
Haha that's funny. It would be perfect though if the cat was a little smaller, and facing straight. But that is funny.

I remember seeing a picture of TTD where it has that picture of the extremely pulled back cheecks and someone photoshopped it and they were in a horse and buggy carriage with a donkey carrying them along the track with a string on a pole hanging down in front of it like the donkey was chasing it. Haha.
