Actually there are no exceptions to the rules for anybody on the boards because that shows favoritism and will start wars between members. There are treads that certain things are allowed and those are judgement calls made by Steven and the staff. I am a former staff member here at Thrillnetwork and am very familier with the rules and procedings of this site. One of the rules for posting in the Show off your site tread is that you are allowed to post as much as you want with out regard to double or triple posting rules.

Yes, as far as I know. As I stated in my first reply, unless the rules have changed. Anyway I think there are a couple of treads in the
Fun and games area that are allowed double posts. There is also a tread where sensless and usless relplies are allowed as its one of the topics. As I said there are a few instances were exceptions have been made by the staff and thats there job.

So unless there has been a change in the Show of Your Site tread then it is okay to double post, however there still is an over lying rule that your posts most be of quality or use to the tread.

Anyway if a staff member happens to read through they may have a clarification to the rule. Or can state the exact rules that apply. It used to say in the guidlines that are posted at the tops of the treads where they usually have guidlines and rules for a particular tread.

I see what your trying to do and I think it's cute.

We try to run a fair site. If you see something you don't like, there's a couple things you can do. Do nothing about it and just get angry at the internet. You could also discuss this with a mod or admin and if you don't like what they are (or not) doing then go to a different staff member or admin. If you get so angry at the words on your screen that you can't take it anymore, you can obviously leave. No one is forcing you to be here. I always suggest the first option.





As for the whole double+ post in a show off your site thread, I will allow it, why? First it wasn't like he just made one update and kept "bumping" his thread just so people could see the same update. He added a ton of content to his site that he was adding and letting us know when each was done. Like I said I personally would have waited a bit and made one or two bigger posts, but he went about it slightly different.

And for my record, no not everyone can just go spam a SOYS thread, if it's your site and your letting us know of a big update then sure go for it, if your just going in to double Post for the sake of double posting then no, its not allowed. Nor is it allowed if it's not your site.

There are exceptions to most every rule in the world, it's not always about favoritism (like I said, we try to be a fair site) and it's always on a case by case scenario. If you ever have a problem or concern let a mod or admin know and we'll deal with it, or discuss it with who it needs to be discussed with to get the most fair solution we can.

Look for posts 51 to 52, there are 3 posts that area missing , I am guessing that maybe the person just deleted the stuff in the post and didnt delete the acuall post. Or is it a glitch, Just wondering as I was looking at the tread and happend to notice posts deleted but still viewable.

I have checked ones I know I deleted and they are gone. So maybe its just this tread. I havnt seen any others in any other tread just this one.

I think its just that the posts werent deleted just the info in it. Unless its a glitch which is why I raise the question..
