Dang, my all-time fave flat rides would be the Iron Eagle at Six Flags America and the Berserker at Paramount's Kings Dominion. The Iron Eagle is unique because you flip and go upside-down in many different directions. It's very disorienting! Also, it leaves you hanging upside-down 85 feet in the air for a few seconds, givng you the scare of your life! The Berserker at Paramount's Kings Dominion is really fun because it's like a swinging ship, but it's much bigger and it goes upside-down. I think it's the only one I've seen so far. Both of the rides I just mentioned are very intense and awesome!

I just went to the Meadowlands Fair and I rode the Mondial Top Scan and the FireBall... That was so awesome!!... the top scan is such a cool ride... I also went on this ride named Magnum... its like a Crazy Dance except with OTSR and each car spins on its on axis and can swing forwards, backwards and even upside down... very cool

My favorite flat rides are all fair rides so the names may be a bit odd. Space Loop, Spin Out, and The Orbiter. Does the Orbiter pull like sustained 6Gs? Cause it feels like it.

Yeah, the spinners that planned music were good. A small, obscure park (DelGrosso's-formerly Bland's Park in Tipton, PA) has something similar called Flying Bobs. It is pretty unique...I like it

Gotta say that most flat rides make me so sick to my stomach, I just can't get on them. Throw any coaster at me and I'm fine...weird, I know. However, over the weekend I was talked in to getting on a Chance Inverter at the Maryland State Fair (call it a radio station dare) and I actually liked it! I didn't get sick at all! Talk about surprising! I didn't even get dizzy on the ride. It's really a fun ride, a little scary with how much you move in the restraints, but overall - a VERY cool ride!
