2006 Six Flags Play Pass

A recap; In late 2004 Six Flags Magic Mountain offered a SF Play Pass AKA Season Pass for just $49.99. It was an amazing price given the size of the park and in my home market in New Jersey the SF Season Pass was going for $79.99 for SFGADV theme park and Safari. Purchasing a SFMM Play Pass was limited to being 300 miles within the park or buying it @ Ralph's Supermarket. I'd never thought I'd be able to get in on the deal but I visited my friend in LA and bought one.
I'm surprised it's available once again in 2006 given the uncertainty that the leadership takeover of Dan Snyder and company will bring. Due to uncertainty I bought and secured my season pass for SFGADV for 2006 in October for $79.99. The listing of 2006 SFMM prices was not available then but are now in December. The season pass mailing from SFMM came in this week. Still $49.99. I'd snatch this deal up now but I can not. The extra $30 is just another atom I give towards the enormous cauldron of debt Six Flags is in. I can't change the past but at least I have my 2006 season pass for Six Flags now. I wonder if they would have sent me a new Play Pass if I renewed though I live in New Jersey. I hope I still get SFMM season pass renewal mailings this time next year. You never know.

I still gotta get my SFA pass as well Shannon,last time I got it at safeway though (in 03) I ended up paying $65 bucks for it w hen I clearly selected the $50 sale price that was being advertised.

They're raising pass prices for SFA up to $80 bucks for regular price for the 2006 season,they just better add something good to the park to warrant that huge rise in the cost.

Last year, I got my 05 AW pass for $30 at an ACE event. Full price AW passes were $65 before May, $75 online after May, $85 at the park after May.

/\ Magic Mountain's regular Play Pass is also $49.99, and I too, am surprised they didn't raise the Pass premium with their 2006 coaster addition going in.
