Umm.....so this coaster has some of the sickest turns out there....

I knew we had started a construction thread on it....but now it's done...and just look at that pretzel loop type deal....amazing!

Damn...this thing is definately the best rocket thus far. I'm really diggin that pretzel, but the 1 second, 0-56 acceleration really takes the cake.

Its amazing that this thing was under 10 million. US parks, take note!

With or without the history with the lapbars, I think that this would get the OSTR's.

01-08-2006, 04:59 PM
Yah, I think all INTAMINS get OTSR's from now on.

01-08-2006, 05:50 PM
RCDB says it accels in 2 secs... Anyways it still looks very good, especially the forces.

Although it isn't the most intense launch out there in the acceleration time catagory...
Speed Monster - 55.9 in 2.2
Storm Runner - 72 in 2.2
Xcelerator - 82 in 2.3
...it does have the sickest element on any accelerator to date in my opinion.

Speed Monster looks so aweomse! I love the Pretzel turn/tophat/inversion. Just goes to show you don't have to spend $25 million to have a fun ride (cough cough SFGADV).

I have never seen anything about this ride before! That is amazing! I want one in the states like that! I hate that they build these launch coasters in the states all the time that do hardly anything beside lauch up one stinking hill! Speed Monster and Storm Runner are better examples of how to do it, although the Premier launchers have cool layouts as well.

I think that this would get the OSTR's.
Seeing how the ride has 3 inversions its safe to say it WILL have OTRSs...

It has already been confirmed with pictures...

Cough, cough Cedar Point even more, my friend willski.

this is the first time i've ever seen this coaster and it looks awesome!

(p.s. can someone recreate it in No Limits? i can't cuase i suck in the game!)

01-09-2006, 01:32 PM
Yeah, it would be nice to have some form of computer-generated onride vid that runs on quicktime or windows media... Anyways those inversions look incredible!

01-09-2006, 02:18 PM
dude, that looks awesome. I can barely imageine how that would feel going through the pretzel.

Best Intamin Accelerator to date! I had seen this a while back but had sort of forgot about it but this is an awesome coaster. U.S. needs one! Love to see something like this at BGW. I could see it fitting in well.

01-09-2006, 03:20 PM
just imagine the intense g's on that pretzel!

01-09-2006, 03:30 PM
this looks awesome.. too bad it couldn't be taller/faster

but its acceleration is in line w/ other similar coasters.. and its PRETZEL LOOP! looks as it has plenty of airtime and the first corkscrew on an acclerator to date... very awesome coasters

im really digging the compact accerlators in Europe..its time smaller parks utilize the concept back here again in the US

01-10-2006, 02:31 AM
That element does look cool. It also is very round-ish from the other ones I've seen thus far.

Is that a walk-way that goes through it?

01-10-2006, 09:17 AM
Yeah. The park has an escalator to get up the hill that the ride was made around.

I cant wait to ride it in June! :D!

01-10-2006, 11:27 AM
I can't wait either to ride it as soon as posible. I really LOVE the design of the ride. And yes, its the best accelerator to date! And I can't wait to see more of these types of accelerator coasters, both in europe(and hopefully in denmark some time... I can only hope :-d), but also in the US and rest of the would. Its really is a prettyfull coaster and it draws alot of guests to the park. And it don't need to be as big as Kingda Ka and Top Thrill Dragster to be good and cool, as you can see with Speed Monster.

I'll be buying a new and better video-camera, so that I can take alot of videos and photos of it, when I'm going to ride it. So look forward to that boys and girls. :-D

Yeah. The park has an escalator to get up the hill that the ride was made around.

That's awesome. It looked like that but then I thought "there's not way..."

01-10-2006, 03:51 PM
This thing looks great. I love Top Thrill Dragster and I'd like to see more of the giant rocket coasters but I'd like to see some of these smaller but more original layouts as well in the US. Since the price tag isn't extremely high, some of the smaller parks in the big chains could get these as well as some independant parks too. I'd love to ride something like this.

I love those kinds of loops, I always to try to make them in NL, but the don't always come out...perfect, if you know what I'm sayin'. lol.
