How would you go about making a coaster with an excitement over 10 but still make it rideable and not have theming, tunnels, brushes with other coasters, etc.

I once got a 10.37 on an Air powered Vertical coaster. It was vveeerrrryyy long and had hill over hill after hill!

I have done the same thing with a Vertical Coaster.
<BR>A basic out and back but with masive hills.
<BR>I also had a Vertical Loop on it as well.

I once made a cool flying coaster with an intnsity rating of 4.39 and a excitment rating of 11.65 it was really cool. buut the brakes faied and it crashed!
It's actually very easy to make a +10 excitement coaster, but generally they look very boring. They are really long, and have lots of hills. Follow that formula on dive coasters for example, and you're sure to get a very high rating. I think its easier on those than on the TA2K type, because the launch needed to keep the ride going for a long time adds a lot of intensity.

actually, if you put in too many hills, the intensity rapidly increases inversely to the nasea and excitement. the best way to make a coaster with an excitement rating of over ten would be to make a hyper-coaster (or close to one) using a stell twister and have a very small hill at the bottom of the first drop to create a ridiculous amount of airtime, then just make some medium-sized hills and banked turned to finish it off.
