Pretty much what everyone has said but with one addition:
Game have the cheats/trainer built into game and you unlock them with codes similar to Playstation games. That way we dont have to worry about finding a trainer that works without bugs.

05-09-2001, 11:16 AM
i don't see why people want cheats - i completed the game without a trainer and no cheats, the only reason i use a trainer is for making big parks!
i find it very satisfing to do a park from scratch without using a trainer.
why do peeps now always want cheats! it is very lazy...(SOMEONE SHUT HIM UP)
6. Transport management to your park (i.e. build a train station and see visitor numbers rise).
7. Make underground easier to see.
8. The ability to speed up and end a game when you have reached the targets.
9. Marketing and sponsorhip - "The Pepsi Coaster".
10. More dark rides.

05-10-2001, 07:56 PM

My Top 10:
1. Ride the rides
2. Midway games
3. More spin and pukes
4. More realistic business model. Namely, peeps would be willing to pay a lot less to get in, but they would all leave at the end of the year.
5. More sizes of inversions, turns etc.
6. Real Park terrains. Sorta like the real life parks, but with nothing built.
7. CORRECT SCALE - If you measure it out by pixels, the peeps are 2 1/2 ft tall.
8. Employees on rides. Would have to check harnesses and the like.
If I get those 8, I'll be happy.

1: Queue construction changes!
a: Going into construction mode would pause the game. You then build your rides, landscaping, paths, etc. But these changes just get stored in a queue of events. This would allow undo. (I hate paying 37 for a path, find out I'm too high to go under a coaster, get $10 back for going back, then paying another 37 to go down more.)
b: While sims and time is still paused, you could then test coasters, and crashes don't count as "I'm not going on that ride, it isn't safe".
c: When you unpause, the game goes back to the way it was before you went into build mode. The changes you made in build mode, then slowly happen (based on how long it would really take to dig a tunnel, assemble a piece of track, build a footpath).
2: While testing, be able to select the number of passengers in the trains. It would nice to make sure a coaster runs with a full load, half load, and empty.
3: More twirl and hurl rides.
4: Build buildings. Build a buiding, and put a ride inside. Build a ride, then put a building around it.
5: Be able to select the size of stores. I don't need to know 3 fuzzy bunnies were sold, just tell me dollars made.
6: Select size of restraunts, tables, etc. Again, I don't care how many burgers are sold, just tell me how much it is making.
7: Less puke. Let handymen repair damage.
8: Covered track/paths (not underground)
9: specify how many units a track should drop in a curve/helix, be able to move from flat turn to bank turn, without a straight.
10: speed up/slow down play (like having to be at lowest magnification (no motion), but game runs at 2-10x speed.)
I don't mind that you can't ride the rides (that would add a ton of complexity and push out other options), or the unrealistic money or hours (can't have 10-30K sims in a park, chasing them all out 150-365 times a year).
Minorities and ladies would seen appropriate.

05-11-2001, 08:37 PM

05-12-2001, 05:31 PM
Just to add I also think that they should raise max height to 100 not 61 pixels ok.

05-13-2001, 03:46 PM
Here's an idea, how about being able to design your with complete flexiblity like you can on Ultra Coaster 3-D, or if you wnat to do it quickly you have the option of having it made quickly like before.

05-14-2001, 07:40 AM
Eh, i forgot something,
-> If a coaster is broken down for a longertime the employee have to come out of the station to get the people out of the trains.
-> Real days, so the park colses on the end of the day
-> one our before opening automaticly the emplyees walk to their rides and they check them.
-> make your own entrance buildings
-> as with the rides too make a possibility to switch the shops to a special theme.

This was very tough to narrow down to 10, but here goes (in no particular order):
5) Nights and seasons (sometimes set as part of scenarios, sometimes adjustable)
More different coaster and track styles
2) A complete coaster workshop separate from the tracks. In it, you could design and theme EVERYTHING--including the scenery, the trains, even the terrain! Then you could save the whole thing, and plop it down when you're ready--though you'd have to be able to afford the whole thing. Perhaps in exchange, to maintain game balance, it would actually take time to assemble the coaster, plus time charged for the design, etc. But the bottom line is that when completed, it would be ready to open--and the numbers would already be what you need.
1) Interactive guest relations--In other words, if guests are upset about something, you'd be able to ask them and correct it--or just ignore them if you like.
6) Real money scaling and guest attendance--including season passes, etc. In other words, you'd take in admissions at the gate from every guest every day, but you'd also have to pay $14 million, for example, for a particular B+M style coaster.
3) Theming workshops similar to the coaster/ride shops, where you can build scenic areas, then plop them down where you please, if you can afford it. Think of it as the ability to draw up blueprints BEFORE you build.
9) Workshops for flat rides, water rides, etc, complete with all the stuff that's in the other workshops.
4) As many others have mentioned, midway games.
7) More themable shops (see also Theming Workshop).
10) A less clumsy underground building system--or, heck, just make it automatic--one of the few things I actually found ridiculous about RCT was the idea that anyone would build things incorrectly underground. I mean, the game concept of building something underground should be:
"Right. I want to build something underground or underwater."
"Okay, but it's going to cost you."
"Done."
This is my top 10 list. There are many others like it, but this one is mine.
