Iv heard rumors of a double TA2K but i highly doubt it. All i know is the Point wont go 2 years without a new coaster.

i think that what CP really needs is a good sit down looper like Tennessee Tornado at SDC. That is really about the only thing CP lacks right now. Sure they have the Corkscrew, but that doesn't count seeing as to how short it is. Where would they put it you ask? I could definetely see them putting one in in the space between the Gemini, and the Mean Streak. This would be the most logical. And, i know that they have a contract with Arrow for one more ride. This would be a perfect fit at CP, and I'd love to see them get one.

I would think that these are the best options for Cedar Point: A faster Air Thrust coaster, possibly over 200 feet. A CCI woodie, awesome wooden coaster that doesn't have to take up a lot of space. But I'd really love to see a vertical drop coaster like Oblivion, think about it, they're are only a couple right now in the world and it would definitely be an attention getter being the only coaster of its kind in America.

CP needs to spill the beans early and let us know what's coming NOW.
Otherwise we'll have these kind of threads for the rest of the year.
The park just opened and all we care about is what they're going to do next year.
C'mon, someone get them to tell.

So many rumers. It is hard to tell which ones are true or not. I just check out the Random Notes/Rumers page every once in a while and look at the stuff about CP. I would say two coasters is almost a done deal. I think a MF Jr. could be in store. A good woodie and a B&M would seem right.

They want the coaster title back badly, and you gotta figure that MM will only build one at the most, so two coasters would give them a tie, so that is a done deal. Or so it would seem! A B&M sitdown looper would be nice, but that would not be anything too innovative. CP usually goes for one of a kind attractions, which is why a dive machine would be great. Or a TA2K.

I have heard lots of rumors about what will be new at the point next year but the one i've heard most is they will build a new woodie and a floorless.

Anything is possible, but I would say they are definitely getting at least one coaster. They will probably get two, but why stop there if they could get three? I would imagine one to be a family coaster (i.e. family version of Arrowbatic), some kind of wooden coaster (Hopefully something along the lines of Shivering Timbers or Ghostrider), and either a TA2K or some kind of looping coaster (either B&M or Pipeline). I'm sure that next year, the Point will be even better.

I think that CP needs a Floorless or a Setpoint Seizmic or a Wild Mouse/Arrowbatic

I would guess: A TA2K because it's the one I heard the most rumors about. A CCI woodie cuz I heard that there's a ton of new wood by Mean Streak and Gemini. And, a 4d cuz I heard that arrow was making calculations near Iron Dragon.
