They're exactly the same, you can't compare. Where's Nitro?

No they are not identical. A common mis-conception. Titan has a helix before the mid-course. That automactily(sp?) makes it better. Duh. i don't see how a ride with less track, and almost identical can be better.

Titan is better of the two because it is the modified version of Goliath. Both coasters are almost exactly alike, but Titan is just longer and has some cooler stuff. It's taller than Goliath too! Plus, it has that added tight upward helix before the mid-course brakes that has earned a reputation for nearly blacking people out. It's awesome!

The original is always better than an almost clone ecept for helix.

I find that very true...and the lackluster theming on Titan really disgusts my taste...But Titan's extra helix gives a good head-chopper effect though. But then, I never really thought that that extra upwards helix did much for me...not like I would have cared if it was there or not.

I haven't been on Titan so I put Goliath which looks better than Titan. Titan is a "parking-lot" coaster with no theming and they just throw in the parking lot like SD:2000. I also don't think an extra helix makes the ride any better.

Easily Goliath. Titan's extra helix is very nice, but it just can't compare with the theming of Goliath.

Goliath by far the theming is the finising tuch(or shuld i say the Begining tuch). titan is taller than goliath but has the same drop.

And let me add one more thing to those who believe this...Titan's drop is 61, just like Goliath. It isn't any steeper than its 95% original twin down in California.

Actually Titans lift is taller. Goliath drops off a slope so if you were to climb up both lifts you would walk more stairs on the Titan. The head chopper effect on the first helix is great. The block brake is kinda of a downer now that they added the brake. Titans braking on the main brakes is acutally smoother becuase of the different springs that Titan use on their brakes. Titan however doesn't have a lot of theming<-- blame corporate. The original plans had a very cool station. Goliath also has horrible trains, luckly Gio. modified Titan trains to be more friendly to the guest and the employee's. However both trains suck when it comes to blowing out road wheels.

Titan is a little bigger. But doesn't Goliath have better theming?

MUCH better theming. It's hilarious when you take a glance at each of them. Titan looks very barren even though its "supposed" theme is a dry western ranch. How exciting is that? Aren't all of SFoT's rides western ranch themed too (other than the Batman branded coasters). At Magic Mountain, you step into all these different worlds that are heavily themed in the ride themselves, not the themed area surrounding them. The ride's themselves are jam packed in their own little story and thematic elements. If anyone has been there, you'll know what I mean...

Titan should be better cause of the extra helix...and its slighlty steeper....i have only done Goliath though...But its funny how Goliath allways gets better ratings

Like I said before and above, Titan is just as steep as Goliath. Both have a 61 initial dive.
