It's kind of weird how I switched to Kraken now being favorite floorless coaster. I used to think Medusa (Six Flags Marine World) was the best of the floorless coasters, but I decided to go with Kraken. Kraken is an all around awesome coaster: it's got speed, great inversions, an exciting layout, and excellent theming! That's why Kraken deserves all my praises. Even though it's not open yet, a coaster I'm most interested in is the new Superman floorless coaster at Warner Brothers Movie World in Madrid (still in construction). The layout of this coaster is the most impressive I've ever seen in a floorless. Superman will be the world's longest floorless coaster when it debuts, I think. It will also be the first floorless to feature an immelman. Yes, there is an immelman in this coaster. Another cool, new thing about Superman is that it doesn't have a mid-course brake like the other floorless coasters have. Instead, you encounter a large airtime hill. It's awesome! The coaster's drop is very steep. It's only one of a few B&M looping coasters with a straight first drop. Once this ride opens, it's gonna be the best floorless coaster. I can't wait to see photos and videos of this coaster during opening day!

Definately one of the Medusas.

Kraken or B:KF
08-05-2001, 08:26 PM
Medusa at SFMW mainly because it's the only one I have ridden! :)

Kraken is just so much more smooth and less jerky. B:KF was seriously rough. I thought it was subpar by B&M standards.

Kraken is the best Floorless coaster.

Kraken has an awesome layout... I missed out on it cuz my parents wouldn't Go to seaworld for me to ride just one coaster after I dragged them to IOA :(

Medusa East and BKF in a tie. Both are great.

Medusa at SFMW because of the Sea serpent and because it's the only one I've ridden.

I've only ridden Kraken & Medusa at SFGrAdv. I preferred Kraken.
01-11-2002, 02:01 PM
krachen, nothing can beat how smooth it is
03-22-2002, 08:32 PM
Superman :KC was Great so it gets my vote,
03-23-2002, 01:20 PM
Kraken gets my vote. I liked it's elements better than the others, and it's second half was alot more unique than the others. I like Kraken's straight drop too.....gives more of a lose-your-stomach sensation plus better weightlessness. S:KC gets my vote for second....great layout and it' setting was second to none.
