Has anyone heard anything???
I was there on Saturday and spoke with an employee that told me they already have steel track on the premesis for next year, which doesn't sound right to me. Why would they have it already?? Not sure if it is true, but they definitely need something new!!! After what they did to the Cyclone, I think they need a new woodie!

Hi there, well I have season pass to 6 flags amer. here in maryland and a friend of mine is a coaster tech with them and he informed me a few weeks ago that there will be some changes at the 6 flags on the east coast. Since there are bad reviews about SFNE, and Superman being the best ride there, I would look for you all to get some new things next year. Keep fingers crossed, but you all might be in store for something real nice up there.

i have a very good feeling SFNE's gonna get a B+M multilooper, probably floorless or standup or protoype. i mean it is a pretty crouded park.

I could be considered an authority of New England amusement parks, and as far as rumors go, the two that are leading right now are woodie and B&M floorless. Which one we get, I don't really care. Both would be an incredible thrill, and a great addition to the park. My sources do tell me that 2002 will be SFNE's big year for expansion, so keep your eyes on that park.

I haven't heard anything, but I hope it's a B&M. They need another coaster with rerideability (is that a word) like SROS to spread out the crowds. Have been there twice this year and haven't ridden Cyclone yet cause it's been broken both times. After spending a weekend at SFGadv. riding 3 B&M's, I feel every park needs at least one. I've never had a coaster experience like riding in the front seat of Medusa. Fantastic! I hope it's a B&M floorless.

last year, ride op on SROS said they were supossed to get a B:TR clone to replace minderaser, but the deal was scraped to pay for the SWO buyout (and that was before it was announced) ive been hearing alot about a B+M standup, but the 4D rumor is pointing twoard SFNE

I think a B&M is the most likely choice for a new major coaster. Look at it this way SFNE doesn't have a unique looper yet. All they have is a boomerang and SLC clone. They need a good steel looping coaster to balance out the park.

I hope they get a Morgan Hyper
I mean i'll probly never go there within the next 5 years but i just love Morgan;s coasters and there track is soooooo sweet!

I'd love to see a CCI or B&M looper. I don't think a CCI is likely, since we already have two woodies, and I can't think of any SF park with more than two wooden coasters (unless you count Lola and Stella at SFKK as different coasters). Other possibilities:
Flying Dutchman
Intamin Gyro-Drop
Right now, however, it's looking like a B&M Stand-up or Floorless is most likely.

they could use a new coaster
