Wich ride do u like better Nitro or Medusa?
I like them both. Medusa is smooth and fun and so is Nitro. Medusa Has flips and Nitro Has High drops. Thats y i like them both.
Only if they made a rollercoaster that is got both high drops and loops at the theme park near me!

Ok. Wait. Let me think. Hold on. I got it!
I think it's kind of unfair to compare a looping floorless with a hyper coaster. The rides are completely different.
I'll have to agree with icecold though. I love them both! Medusa especially in the front, for the feeling of flying and smoothness. I just love that ride! Nitro for the drop alone, and the fact that there's never a dull moment.
Nitro is only better than Medusa if you ride it in the front row. If you're anywhere else in the train, it's not as good, and Medusa is better.
1. Nitro - front seat
2. Medusa - front seat
3. Medusa - anywhere else
4. Nitro - anywhere else

i would definitely have to say that Nitro is better
its kinda weird to put a hyper against a floorless looper though.

Well they are similar in that:
1. Both by B&M
2. Both in SFGAdv.
3. Both "star" attractions
But they are different too...
Anyway, I'd go with Nitro. I find Nitro to be a lot smoother since it is newer, and I like drops and helixes more than inversions. It's mainly preference, but that's my view.

another preposterus comparison!!!
oh well im in california and i have Riden medusa West..its prety good but nothing beats a good hyper in fun specially a B&M hyper so i would think id enjoy nitro more

I love both Medusa and Nitro because they are both creations of B&M! Medusa has really intense inversions while Nito has huge hills and amazing airtime. Personally, I'd go with Nitro by a long shot because it's taller, faster, steeper, and longer than Medusa. It also gives you a better ride. Nitro is my favorite coaster this year!

i like them both and its very close but i would rather ride nitro.

Too close to call for me... Medusa is just to great and the same for nitro... i rather have both ;)

This is a stupid question since Nitro is a hyper coaster and Medusa is a floorless looper. I like them both.

Ive never ridden either but Nitro looks way more intimidating!

Nitro is better but medusa is still great (no lines!)

I still think Nitro is still WAAAY better than Medusa! When I first rode Medusa in 1999, I thought it was the most awesome roller coaster in the park. Watch out, Nitro has landed!
may the FORCE be with you

Wow you have a thing for digging up dead bodies (threads) ;)
I have not been on either (though the closest I have been to either of them is Magic Mountain's mirrored version of Medusa, which is still quite different, considering every turn is taken in the opposite direction).
But from photographs and reviews, I'd say Nitro. Plus, I haven't been on a Beemer Speed Coaster like I already have with two Floorless', so I'd like to try something new for once.

By photos, I'd say Nitro.

I'd definately have to say Nitro, though I haven't been on either. Any B&M hyper looks incredible.

By photos and reviews, Nitro.
