Even though I think Raptor is a really awesome inverted roller coaster, there are a few better inverted coasters than it. Personally, I think Montu and Alpengeist are a lot better than the coaster!

This is my top inverted coaster, and number three on my top twenty-five list.

Raptor is the best inverted coaster I have ridden. I've ridden Montu, Alpengeist, and Batman: The Ride, and Raptor's just the best, IMO. I love the twists and turns and the helix at the end is really intense. The cobra roll is really run, too!

It is at the #1 spot on my favorite inverted coasters, and close to it on my all time favorite coasters.

Raptor is actually my favorite B&M inverted coaster, and my 2nd favorite inverted coaster (my favorite being Volcano at PKD). It's really fun throughout the whole ride...I liked MF, Magnum, and Mean Streak better, but I thought this was really good.

It was ok, Too much tome wher nuttin happens. I like Batman better, it's more action and no resting time. But Raptors still awesome!

Where do you figure there is too much time where nothing happens? The only resting time I see is at the trim brakes.

As far as the ride itself, its great. After the zero g roll, you go into a dive and a straightaway. Numerous times, I have found a light dip right before you hit the cobra roll....anyone else feel this?

Raptor is one of the best inverteds out there. My opinion actually falls somewhere between "the coolest inverted coaster ever" and fun but not great". I thought it was an extraordinary ride, but my favorite inverted of all time is Alpengeist. Raptor is a very fun coaster....in my opinion, the only ride at CP that is better is Millennium Force.

I liked the Raptor when I first rode, but after riding DD and Alpengeist it just falls short of those inverts.

Raptor is definately a great ride, but I wouldn't say "the greatest", not quite. I agree that the slow time coming out of the cobra and through the block brake really takes away from the ride, but it does give you some time to breathe and admire the view. :) Personally, I think Dueling Dragons is better (the close calls really add a lot of atmosphere to the ride, and without those it might fall into the same category as Raptor), and Montu still blows me away. Great ride, a lot smoother than Raptor in my opinion, and I love the way it is more molded to the land and scenery. Of course, with Raptor that couldn't be done nearly as much, but I look at all coasters as a total experience, not just a single stand-alone ride.

It's the best coaster anywhere, until MF came around.

Raptor a great unique ride that was my first inverted but.....

Montu has better themeing and a better layout with better foot choppers but..

Dueling Dragons go the extra step with the best themeing of any coaster with the best layout, and the best near miss effects.

I'd have to agree with most people here, and say that Raptor is a really fun ride, but not the best.

That honor goes to the Fire Dragon :)

Together with Montu and Nemesis the best inverted I've ridden. Many people say Alpengeist is better, but sadly I haven't ridden it so I can't compare them.
