Mine is The Incredible Hulk.

Practically every B&M is a masterpiece. If I had to choose the best one, though, it'd be one of the following:
Medusa (East)
Superman: Krypton Coaster
I really can't narrow it down past those.

05-26-2001, 12:40 PM
Got to go with Medusa East, Nitro, and Montu. B+M rocks!

05-26-2001, 01:10 PM

05-26-2001, 01:20 PM
Wow--it is hard to choose. I would have to say Montu with Kraken and Apollo's Chariot a close 2nd and 3rd.

05-26-2001, 01:29 PM
I like Kumba and Alpegiest, but they all kick ass.

05-26-2001, 01:36 PM
WildFire, its awesome, but Alpenguiest is sweet!

05-26-2001, 01:54 PM
Kumba followed closely by Kraken

05-26-2001, 02:39 PM
Kraken, then Hulk.

05-26-2001, 02:40 PM
Nitro is my favorite, but Medusa East is my favorite looper, followed by Raptor.

NITRO of course!!!!!!!!!!

05-26-2001, 05:01 PM
medusa east

05-26-2001, 05:02 PM
This is such a tough question...
I'd say it's a tie between Hulk and Kumba, with Montu behind by .000000001 point.

05-26-2001, 07:44 PM
Nitro or Montu not only my two favorite B&M's but my two favorite coasters ever.

05-26-2001, 07:50 PM
Definitly Nitro, that is totally awesome! the airtime is incredible.

05-26-2001, 08:05 PM
What a cruel question -t o pick one B&M coaster as the best, especially with so many different types to choose from. I dn't feel qualified b/c there are so many out there that I still need to ride, but I'll throw in my 2 cents:
Speed - Raging Bull (slight edge over Apollo's Chariot)
Inverted - Alpengeist
Stand-up - Mantis (I've never been on Riddler)
Sit-Down - never been on a sit-down multi-looper

Talon, so quiet it strikes before you hear it. Nitro is OK but I prefer Intamin for Hyper/Giga/Speed. The first B&M I truly liked was Superman:Krypton Coaster SF:FT, rode Medusa east later and prefered S:KC. I also prefer TopGun PGA to the B:TRs I've ridden. Stand-ups have yet to grab me, too restrictive and uncomfortable.

05-26-2001, 09:53 PM
I have only ridden Hulk and Kumba. I'd have to go with Hulk. Can't wait to ride Nitro and Medusa East this summer!

05-26-2001, 10:00 PM
Id say alpengeist or hulk but hasnt this topic happened already.

The Beast
05-27-2001, 12:33 AM
Who cares if this topic has happened already. Alpengeist is the best.

05-27-2001, 04:30 PM
The Raptor, it is smooth even with six inversions. Plus, it is the only B&M I have been on besides Mantis.

05-27-2001, 05:51 PM
No Contest. It is definitly NITRO!

05-28-2001, 10:43 AM
My favourite B & M might actually change this summer because I'm going to California and Las Vegas but there aren't any B & M's in Las Vegas!

I have only ridden 6 but I have to go with Apollos Chariot.

05-28-2001, 11:28 AM
My favorite B&M is Batman: The Ride at Six Flags Over Texas. Of course, this will all change after my trips to Williamsburg and Fiesta Texas.

05-28-2001, 11:47 AM
Nitro--all the way.

Apollo's Chariot

Apollo's Chariot

06-16-2001, 07:14 PM
Alpengeist is my favorite

06-16-2001, 07:55 PM
Apollo's Chariot ROCKS.

As we all know, B&M is one of the top roller coaster designers/manufacturers in the world. So, what is your favorite B&M coaster?

Mine is a tie between Raptor @ Cedar Point and Batman Knight Flight @ Six Flags Worlds of Adventure.

08-14-2001, 04:39 AM
My favorite B&M is RIDDLER'S REVENGE. It has an awesome drop, a garangatuan loop with plenty of hang time on the top, massive back to back dive loops, a few surprising instances of tremedous airtime, a helix with high G's, and two bodacious barrel rolls. THe restraints are comfy and the ride is as smooth as butter. It's not as intense as Goliath or Viper. On the other hand, Riddler's Revenge is a euphoric experience which puts you in a state of pure ecstasy.

08-14-2001, 04:41 AM
The Incredible Hulk of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that coaster rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite B&M coaster would definitely be Nitro because it's the biggest, baddest coaster they've made yet (not including Silver Star because it's still in construction). Nitro's first drop is extremely gut-wrenching and it features many huge airtime hills and bunny hops. Oh yeah, and it also has that sweet hammerhead element as well as the S-curve and the high-G double helix. The hypercoaster surely stands out in the park, but it's most exciting feature IMO is its trains. I mean it's trains are brilliantly color-coordinated to match the track. Nitro is incredibly fast and the coaster's 5,394 feet of track features many surprises. Aside from Nitro, I also love B&M's other fiendish coaster creations. My favorite B&M inverted coaster would have to be Alpengeist because of its size and power. B&M did a perfect job situating this 195 foot tall scream machine in a ravine. Not only that, but it's ski-lift theming as well as its huge inversions are important factors that contribute to how great it is. The Riddler's Revenge gets my pick for being the best stand-up. B&M's stand-ups are just as intense as any of their coasters, and The Riddler's Revenge is no exception. The mammoth 156 foot tall coaster features a handful of gigantic inversions including a 125 foot tall vertical loop. My favorite B&M sit-down would definitely be Incredible Hulk because the coaster is a great rush from the moment of the launch to its finish. Incredible Hulk features sleek green trains that are able to maneuver its 3,700 feet of twisted track with smoothness and precision. I can't really decide which would be my favorite floorless coaster. I mean I've ridden them all, but I really can't choose whether Medusa (West) or Kraken should be my favorite floorless. Both coasters are awesome, but I guess I'm gonna have to go with Medusa (West) because it's got a lot of intensity plus it features a host of incredible elements and inversions. Medusa (West) is awesome because it's bright lime-green track and purple supports really stand-out once you enter Six Flags Marine World. What I love about the amazing floorless is its straight first drop of 150 feet. You can't really find that on many B&M loopers nowadays. B&M and their coasters will always be a big part of my coaster addiction. Every year, they just keep on getting better and better with their rides. I know that 2002 will be a big year for B&M because many rumors are already going on about future projects. We'll all just have to wait until announcement time to find out what new scream machines they'll offer to us for the 2002 season. It's gonna be a blast!

08-14-2001, 06:16 AM
I also love Medusa East since that was my very first "big" rollercoaster. I went through my first ever inversion on that ride. Previous coasters I have ridden were kiddie ones like Wild Maus at BGW, Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train at SFGAdv, and Space Mountain at Disneyland.

nice essay :)

Raging Rider
08-14-2001, 09:11 AM
This should be in polls and it is a repeat topic. I like Raptor at CP.

08-14-2001, 09:27 AM
Nitro, or mantis. I know yall dont like mantis much, but i like it coz its not smooth as pie like RR and it has some great positive gs in its inversions. RR is great, but mantis is more intense, and i hate curved drops like on rr. Also mantis rurnaround is so exileraing, that high up and goign so fast and banked so far, the whole experience is great!! I like nitro coz it has a lot of elements, unlike alot of hypers that just have hills and turnarounds. Nitro has hills, hamerhead, and a doubkehelix, making it a great ride!

Incredible Hulk all the way I love the launch

Swimming King
08-14-2001, 09:58 AM
Considering I haven't been on one of their hypers, I would have to say Hulk. The launch is cool, and the rest of the ride is very well done.

08-14-2001, 10:46 AM
KRAKEN!!!!! by far it is an awesome ride and completely original

08-14-2001, 11:00 AM
My top 3 B&Ms would have to be (in no particular order) KUMBA- The first drop is very intimidating and very intense. That diving drop is one of the best out there. HULK- The launch and the zero-g roll, cobra roll, and loop...in my eyes has not been topped as of yet. What an inversion combination...MEDUSA-WEST- great heights, Sea Serpent element, very high zero-g roll(like HULK) makes this one a top B&M in the west.

Honorable mentions go to RIDDLER'S REVENGE- my first standup experience, and what a way to start..heights, intense inversions, this coaster doesn't quit until the final brake run. WILDFIRE-haven't ridden it yet, but since I love Kumba, this one should top my list very soon :) I am on my way to experience this one THIS WEEKEND!!

08-14-2001, 11:28 AM
Mt two favorite B&M's are Mantis @ Cedar Point, and Raging Bull @ Six Flags Great America. Both are great coasters with non stop action, there is hardly any dead time if ya wanna call it i guess. Everyone raves about Raptor, but I didnt think it was that great, prolly because it does have dead time. I like Batman much better.

08-14-2001, 11:38 AM
Well tahts really Easy!! B&M have made awesome rides and I like them all. I mostly like Nitro though becuz there is a lot of air time on that ride and becuz u feel like your flying! Its an amazing roller coaster made by B&M! I would ride taht all day long if I would have to!

08-14-2001, 11:43 AM
Obviously Hulk, the most unique B&M around. It doesn't follow the inversion order of Kumba (which many big B&Ms follow, or very close).

08-14-2001, 12:12 PM
well i love all B&M's but i cant choose between Nitro n Medusa (east)....... sure Batman Knight Flight, Hulk, Batman: The Ride, Dueling Dragons, Raptor, Mantis n others ive bin on but these 2 stand out....... Medusa was my 1st 'big' coaster (if u dont count Viper) and i am still in awe over it. Yet nitro, not my 1st hyper or nethin, but damn, u dont get betta airtime (IMO), that drop is only beaten by Millennium Force but not by much, that speed is awesome and i am in awe over it also....... I still get chills ridin these coasters (more nitro, only on medusa when i sit indian style w/ my hands bhind my head lol) n these coasters will always b @ the top of my list (until B&M make a betta 1, lol) :)

08-14-2001, 01:33 PM
nitro and the raptor

08-14-2001, 03:49 PM
Alpengeist. It is my second favorite coaster, and I have it above Apollos Chariot.

08-14-2001, 03:51 PM

08-14-2001, 04:22 PM
Riddlers Revenge....

08-14-2001, 04:50 PM
3rd Place - Talon (WAY TOO UNDERRATED!)
2nd - Nitro (FASTEST I'VE BEEN ON)
1st - Medusa (East) (MY FAVORITE STEEL)
