WWII didn't start like that, oh no. it started with Germany invading poland, and the Brittish saying that if Germany attack poland, we would go to war, and Germany went to war with europe. it only became WWII when russia backed germany, and then so did Japan. Pearl Harbour brung YOU into, we were already kickn ass for 2 years.

you got history wrong | LOL! England was kickin Nazi ass for two years, but the way I heard it, the Nazis were pushing the English back to England and taking over all of Europe, but then the USA came along and kicked Nazi ass!

you got history wrong | Either I've learned something terribly wrong, or Russia never backed Germany. I think YOU got your history wrong

| | | I don't think Russia backed Germany either, though I may be wrong. Also, the "USA didn't kick Nazi ass"; it was a joint effort between the UK and USA, the D-day landings and all that. Without being blunt, and I'm not saying that you've done this, but we hate it here when Americans imply that they won the war on their own!

In the same way that all those urban legends get bandied about whenever there's a disaster, (and boy are there plenty of those at the moment), if you look hard enough, you can always find some quirk of numbers/time that appears more sinister that it really is.
