| | | Skyline of Manhatten The once tall and proud Empire State Building, reclames the Manhatten Skyline title as the tallest building in NY. As you can see to the left of the ESB, the twin towers are gone. |

| | | I have a pic of the southern tip of Manhattan from the crown of the Statue of Liberty. When I see a similar pic of what I took without the WTC in the picture it'll feel really wierd. |

| | | I certainly Hope They Rebuild Them. Even then it still wont be the same. I lived in NY for 9 years and the very 1st thing everyone looked at was the World Trade Centers. Just not the same w/o them.

I just got the picture of yahoo, so you might be able to find one there. I must warn you though, yahoo has about 1700 pictures of this terrist attack, so it might take awhile to find one if there is one. |

| | Thats terrible. New York will never be the same again. And to think... I've never been to NYC, I never got to see the WTC, or New York's skyline in its glory.

| | | And so we return to an era before our innocense was lost, before we truly knew that we were innocent to begin with... It certainly is different, and while I never had the pleasure of being in NYC to see the twin towers, I've seen it so frequently on the news, in movies, television shows, etc... It just won't look right, even to my unpracticed eye.
Great double picture, by the way... Thanks.

| | | They will biuld the Trade Centers back, bigger and taller. That'll show those Terrorists that America can stand up to their cowardliness.(Is that a word?) |

| | No, it's not a word -- I think you're thinking of "cowardice" which means what you're trying to say, that they act like they're cowardly. And I agree, that anyone would commit such an act and not come forward to lay claim, they are either cowards or smarter than we think.

| | This whole ordeal has just been terrible. Without those towers, the NYC skyline just looks empty. If I didn't know better, I'd say it was Los Angeles.

| | | Rebuild I just recently read an arcticle on the rebuilding of the WTC. The owner says that he will most likely rebuild them, but with a different design. But he also says that this isn't for sure. he's hesitant because the name World trade Center will be a very bad omen to most people after this whoel thing, and even if he rebuilds it and changes the name , somehow wont two of the tallest towers in new york bring back bad memories?
