Halloween And Terrorist Attacks

I stayed home this year and handed out candy and gave out a few good scares to kids. I dont know if this is considered a repeat topic, if it is i apologize. I just wanted to ask you guys if you think the Terrorist attacks and the whole Anthrax Thing had an affect on this years halloween. I really think it kept people Inside and Not out Trick or Treating because We hardly had anyone stop by at out house. Were doing Exactly what the terrorists want us to do.....Be afraid....And i think we should have done more for halloween.... Yes we still can be safe but we still need to move on and and show them terrorists that we are not scared...... There is fear in all of us..... But we need to move on. PS Happy Halloween Everyone

Darn...forgot to go to the mall and prove to everyone that the malls being attacked was just another hoax.

Stayed home and on this site partly because of my 12 hour day at work.

I was at the mall earlier, idiot terrorists. Anyways, not a lot of trick or treaters stopped by my house, I have a lot of left over candy, which isn't a bad thing.

This is the least amount of people who stopped by my house in years. I'm not sure if it was from the terrorist things or if people are just lazy these days. (like me)

I have a BUNCH of candy leftover. The kids just didn't show up. It was a bit depressing but I guess it is understandable.

I didn't go trick or treating, I haven't gone for a long time. I went to my youth group activities. We had a dance and costume contest and stuff like that. It was a lot of fun. But I noticed that not a whole lot of people went trick or treating to my house. Usually we get more than that, but I don't know. I agree with you, Dr.Bruce Banner, about the people that thought there should be no halloween this year because of the terrorists. I have heard a few people say that, and I think they're wrong. I think that is just what the terrorists wanted is for us to be all scared, and there is no reason that anyone should have missed halloween for that or thought they should miss halloween because of that.

My mom said there were only 10 groups of kids at our house and we usually get quite a few. I am pretty sure it was because of the weather though cuz it was cold and wet.

Their was barely anyone who came to our house. Most of the kids also had adults going with them. I think it was a safe hallowen. Besides, i got lots of leftover candy.

sorry

I know that had nothing to do with terrorists, but in a way, I guess it sort of fits the topic

So much for those rumors about terrorists attacking malls. If it isn't one threat, it's another. Here in CA, right after the mall threats, now we have to deal with plots against bridges now.
