Coaster Manufacturer ratings

I get so sick of hearing some of the whiners bash certain coaster builders, and talk of others as though they can do no wrong. I decided to create a mathematical ratings system for the different manufacturers that I have experienced.

I started by giving each coaster a score: 5 for an excellent coaster, 4 for Very Good, 3 for Good, 2 for Decent, 1 for lame, and -1 for Brutal. I added the scores for each manufacturer and then averaged them sothat building a brutal turd has a significant effect on overall score. (are you listening, Chuckie Dinn?)

Since a perfect score would be 5, I multiplied by 20 to get a percentage. Here are my results:

Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters 73%

Arrow 70%

Intamin 68% (Halfasster Transport hurt you!)

B&M 60% ( You'll never get past Mantis!)

Dinn 46% ( I only gave six coasters a perfect "5" score. You have one of them, and still scored in the toilet. Let's all sing along: "Mean Streak SUCKS!")

Schwartzkopf 60%

Dollywood Maintenance Group 20% (Snoring Fury)

Gerstlauer 80% (skewed by only one coaster)

GCI 80% (also only one coaster)

John Miller 70%

Vekoma 72%

CCI 63% (Take away Villain and they're at 76%)

Gravity Group 100% (only one coaster, but if I were giving a "6", this one would have gotten it!)

SDC 60%

Togo 60% (only one coaster)

Premier 80%

S&S 80% (only one coaster as well)
