MySpace vs. Facebook

If you are one of my closer friends, I'm a reasonably heavy user of MySpace and Facebook. Both MySpace and Facebook have been undergoing transitions as of late.
MySpace has been integrating various changes one step at a time (I loved their new landing page after you've logged in). They are supposedly working on a profile redesign, which I have no idea what that holds.
Facebook has pushed their new site into beta (Welcome to Facebook! | Facebook). I tried it for about 2 days, and it sucked. Nothing really worked.
I continue to use both because I have friends that are on one site, but not the other. I like to keep in touch with them, so cancelling one seems to be out of the question.
I'm curious though... which social network do you use, and why?
