Red face Ok no u got it all wrong...

The YELLOW Standup in this park is 100% Intamin! Look at the trains for god's sake, that's INTAMIN Standups. Only 2 of these in the world. One is a Batman Coaster (white scheme) and the other one is the Yellow Coaster which is named LE COBRA. The park is named LA RONDE.

They repainted LE COBRA for a green and black design.

The Parts coming to the park are B&M (inverted, standup, flyer, floorless, hyper, we don't know!)

And YES it IS the FIRST B&M coaster. If you don't beleive that Intamin is the Maker of Le Cobra, then go and ask the manager of the park.

There are infact 3 Intamin Stand-ups if you include the Shockwave at Drayton Manor in England.
The Intamin Stand Up at la Ronde (Le Cobra) was first situated in sweeden (or finland the mind slips) at Skara Summerland and was named Stand-up.

More Info Here
http://coaster-network.com/bm/intamin/cobra.htm

Also the B&M going to La Ronde is a Batman Clone i can gaurentee it. I asked the PR department of there plans a while back and they confirmed they were getting an inverted coaster. Its just now that we know its a batman and not the rumoured eurostar move.
The colour of the ride is also exatly the same as the now built Batman: The Ride at Warner Brothers Movie World0 Madrid.

Hope that helps

Sad fact in Canada: Canada's most popular coaster is a 1995 Vekoma SLC.

Great fact in Canada: Canada is finally having a B&M!

Sad fact again: That B&M is a B:TR clone.

Sad Fact, you seem to know nothing about that new B&M Coaster. La Ronde is actually a monster-mythology-like park. All the coasters have names like "Cobra, Monster, Dragon" etc. And the main themeing is like old-town style. I also doubt that the coaster will be a B:TR Clone wince the latest one was built like in ''97 or so (correct me if im wrong) I think it's gonna be a custom layout or just a new Design.

I don't see why it wouldn't be a Batman clone. There is one opening in Spain next year. I don't think they are old hat. I would like one in England, personally.

Yeah, but if u go by that logic, then SFAW has a B&M. Intamin marketed and built the coaster, so they are the company that made it. B&M doesn't always design their coasters, they get help. Same goes for most companies. So Le Cobra is an Intamin.

Hey
I Gaurentee you 100% that its a batman clone. It might not be themed to batman i suppose but its deffinatly a batman: The ride clone

The Latest Batman: The Ride was built this year as a matter of fact.

Sad Fact: Every B&M inverted coaster in a Six Flags Park is a Batman; The Ride Clone. Including the WBMW chain.

b&m is just a coaster designing company. they don't even build their own track pieces unlike intamin.

i'm gonna doubt its a Talon clone. Like it was mentioned above, every single SF park with a B&M inverted, has a B:TR clone. Don't get me wrong, its a great ride, but the more they build, the worse all of them become. the ride was MUCH better back in 92 when it was the only inverted coaster ever.

Walter Bolliger and Claude Mabillard assisted in the design of Intamin's three standup coasters, in the seating, track, etc. back when they worked for that company. Flashback is the same kind of thing. Technically, Cobra is an Intamin ride, but like Juliet said: "What's is a name?", it is still crafted by the hands of the wonderful Swiss masters, so it can theoretically be considered their work. Compare it to B&M's early standups and you'll find how similiar they are.

Any continuous circuit inverted coaster in a Six Flags park is either a B:TR clone or a Vekoma SLC.

And all of them have the same name!!!

Wink

Laronde would be a lot better if a couple things were to happen:
1. Clean up the park, too much vandalism and crap there
2. Clean up the rides, give them a paint job and for some of them that dont have them a station roof!
3. One big new type ride
Other than that its very well themed has good rides and is close to me

Agree, Six Flags is by definition badly-themed.

Hmmm.... may be we are looking at a 'Le Batman'........

lol go take french courses. Batman is not an animal nor a french word so it will jut be "Batman" or "Batman: Le Manège" (Batman: The Ride)

I doubt it it will be a BTR Clone though. And the only time the park is really dirty is the first and last weeks of the seasons. Other than that, it's full of janitors everywhere (and kinda lacks of trashcans sometimes) But it's not as dirty as people would think it is. And actually the park is well themed, remember, SF Bought it last year and they didn't do any changed yet.

Geez

Geez Dash, we all know for certain it's a B:TR clone. I know La Ronde is your home park(it's mine too) and sometimes that clouds your opinion of the park but we ain't getting a B&M original design. Believe me, I know for sure. Peace Out,
D-Train

RCDB. com says that cobra was built in 1995 so b&m didn't design the coaster. It was all intamin.
