Lightbulb AIR-the slightest hints of themeing can be found!

OK, this has been posted on other boards, but i've found some piccies of things that could be hints of themeing!

1.The waterfalls

http://www.john-wardley.demon.co.uk/...n/photo33a.jpg
This picture is giving away that there are going to be waterfalls of some sort. You can see the walls and the large holes in the tunnel. These appear on Nemesis in the tunnel with water in.

2.The station and war theme

http://www.john-wardley.demon.co.uk/...n/photo42a.jpg
Check out that large metal object! Some people have said that this looks like the Ripsaw control booth, which is actually a lot bigger than this. There is also a small plaque on the fence, which could tell us something about the history of AIR. The station also has a large piece of track on the roof, which is just like the white pieces on Nemesis.

3.The walls

http://www.john-wardley.demon.co.uk/...n/photo46a.jpg
Those walls look awfully familiar.... They seem to be nearly exactly the same as the rest of the walls in the Forbidden Valley! Of course, the station will more than likely be enclosed so these would have to be built over.

That is all the evidence of themeing i have found so far. Tell me if you've found any more.

I'm sure it will have a great theme, just like Nemesis and Oblivion. I wonder when AT will announce AIR's official name.

I think AIR is the official name. It will have more of a "Hold Your Breath" theme than a flying theme. That's what I can get out of it.

Those are some cool pics, and by the themeing on one of AT's rides this will no doubt be themed well. I want to go to England so bad, I hope it comes true next year.

And they also appear in tunels with no water. From the artists impressions though - it does look as if waterfalls will be present.

Well, that is Ripsaws control booth!!! Its just the perspective on the picture confusing people.

As for the station roof 'track' - thats simply the structure for the roof ridge and will be covered over!

The themeing will of course fit in with the rest of forbidden valley. and a lot of the themeing will utilise the big stone blocks to form walls etc. The station will also be open (ie No real sides). This can be seen in the artists impressions of the station, the model and also evident in looking at the current constuction pics.

Question

OK, last time i went Ripsaw's control booth was a fat truck! Also, if it is the control booth, then it has been replaced as there is a fence around it. Strange stuff is going on at Alton!

I don't think AIR is the official name. AIR stands for something, but I don't remember what.

AIR is the official name of this coaster and yes it stands for Aero Inverted Ride. The waterfall after the 2nd tunnel will give a great effect to this ride. I don't think the theming in AT can ever fail.

Todays Daily Express newspaper had an article about AIR. It didn't contain anything that we didn't already know, apart from saying there will be "breathtaking water features". If true, this would seem to back up the theory that water will play a large part in the ride's theming.
