Something new for SFKK in 2002!!!

Here is an article taken from screamscape

"The park will try something new to lure in its local audience this season... free Ohio Valley Wrestling shows every other Friday in June and July at the Batman Stunt Show Arena. I’m not quite sure what this is, but it seems they have some kind of attachment with the WWF people since they also mention something about possible appearances of WWF stars as well."

Who needs a roller coaster when you have "wrestlin"

Uh, I need a rollercoaster instead if wrestling. Anyway, it sucks they won't get anything new this season. Seems to me an Impulse would go well with the park's collection. Guess we'll have to wait and see in 2003.

Hey, sounds cool to me...in the end it'll bring in more people to the park because, like it or hate it, wrestling brings in people, as it is a proven ratings machine. And for those who wonder, Ohio Valley Wrestling is like the WWF's minor leagues, you basically have to work your way up there until you can make it on wwf television...so the marketing for it is something like, "the superstars of tomorrow". Also, when current wwf stars are returning from an injury, they will wrestle in OVW to get the rust off before they make it back to television.

Wrestling gets boring. You see the same old people say the same old junk and do the same old moves. Coasters keep on improving every year. They just keep getting more exciting. I hope I detected a hint of sarcasm there.

Moving to "Construction"...

Personally I don't like wrestling, but then again, I don't care for many sports or Jerry Springer, so that automatically cancels out the WWF for me... But in terms of drawing a crowd, it is a good idea and will increase attendance (though for some of us, the main attraction is that these people will be watching the show and the lines will be shorter for us!).

SFKK is a really cool park, but a lot of people have never even heard of it... It has an awesome stand-up, two great woodies, and a not-good invert, but its still a great park... they really need to add a good coaster so they can get on the map as well...
