| | | SFEG announces new coaster! We've known it all along, but SFEG finally announced their new for 2002 flying coaster by Zamperla. It's getting my vote for the best name of the year: " The Flying Coaster." I love that name so much Click here to go to SFEG's official website. I'm hoping someone covers construction of this coaster. I'd like to see it go up. It'll open in late May.

| | | Wow, what an aweful name. Couldn't they have at least had it be Batman: Ultimate Knight Escape Flight or something?

| | | It looks neat, but I agree that that's a terrible name. Of course there is some Japanese coasters that are named after what kind of ride they are. (ex. Hanging Coaster, Standing Coaster)

| | | Yea, the coaster looks cool, but the name stinks, I would have been happy with a Super Hero name or since the colors are Blue and Orange, go with like the Bronco or something

| | | Ok, so the name isn't exactly the greatest (seems to be a SixFlags thing this year. Superman Ultimate Flight, Batman: The Dark Knight, The Flying Coaster ) At least SFEG is getting something this year.

| | | Looks like a pretty cool ride. I've seen one other cool looking zamperla flying coaster. They actually look fun. The name on the other hand is really dumb, but yes at least they didn't name it rollercoaster like some rides lol.

| | There are no inversions on this ride. It's compact and is meant to give a good sensation of flying. Here is alink to the TN article, which has a link to some pics of the ride's prototype. http://www.thrillnetwork.com/article...thread&order=0
Edit: Ok, there are inversions. I opened my mouth too soon.

| | Well, it isn't the worst name that I've heard, but I agree that it could get slightly more creative... Then again, I don't really think that either Millennium Force or Wicked Twister are very good names, either. Oh well! It isn't the name that matters, after all, but what it does to you!

Here's a link to the vehicle going through the inversion. And the money shot, actually it's just a third image of the vehicle going through the inversion. It may only have one inversion, but it's got one

| | | That inversion still doesn't have the rider going upside down. That's a close call to decide. Anyway, it still looks cool.

| | | The inversion doesn't have the rider upside down in the photo, but it is a full inversion. It's an inline twist, so it's an inversion. Look at the first photo. You can clearly see it inverts all the way.
