Not another land clearing thing.........

If Sfgadv got anything for 2003, then why would they have land clearing now??? Also, since they are getting nothing for 2002, then why is this in the 2002 construction? I saw some pictures of what was susposed to be land clearing, but just to let you know, that stuff was their about a year ago, so it insnt anything new.

Whatever the land clearing is about, I kind of hope that it isn't in preperation for a B&M Flyer as our big present in 2003. LoL i bet u guys are gonna scream at me for this one, but it kinda worrys me how SFoG put out some warning saying that the ride isn't for the thrills, but rather for the sensation of flying. in my opinion, that means it'll be fun the first couple times, then soon get boring and suck as badly as Runaway Train. (ok maybe not that bad, but you get the point) maybe i'm wrong, cuz hell, i've never been on a flying coaster. but that's jus the impression i get from the warning by SFoG. But, if the big announcement is a 100' tall 4D, i'm also gonna get kinda pissed, cuz it's less than half the size of X out in SFMM. Yet, either one would be better than nuttin. i guess i shouldn't be so picky and jus be happy wit whatever we get. 3 B&Ms at my homepark musta been what spoiled me.

that would suck if we got a 100ft 4d i dont think gadv would do that tho, i think they would get a full sized one, and where does everyone get the idea that its ganna be a B&M flyer

Maybe they'll pull a Magic Mountain on us and give us both a 4d and a B&M flyer! I think we'll eventually get both.. but I mean they gave SFMM 3 coasters at once, anf GADV is the theme park of the east. Might just happen. Then that would be 4 Beemers for GADV and be "14" coasters cuz they say 12 now right. Next big thing!

We can only hope

Hmm 2003 is Great Adventures 30th Anniversary.. I think Great Adventure is looking to revitalize and bring New Jersey into the theme park spotlight... 2003 they gonna start with a new section across the lake there with new rides atleast 1 coasters but i wouldnt count out 2... but for the park to complete transform to resorts and stuff i'd probably wait for that until around 2005 or 2006...
i dont think they'd give us a 100 ft 4d either.... think about it all of our loopers are 100 ft or better right? why would they start builder mediocre rides now when they try to bill themselves as a thrill park or extreme park... Flyer sounds possible because of the success SFGadv had with past b&m projects... although like ive seen if the b&m flyer doesnt get some new impressive elements or something.. it doesnt sound as fun.... it sounds like u get an impressive feel of flying but not the same intensity u might feel on a vekoma flyer(even though they breakdown like junk lol)

SFGADV's first priority should be a decent woodie. The current version of Rolling Thunder just cant cut it anymore. If Six Flags cant renovate the ride they should build a woodie in the land clearing and take down RT for another steel coaster in 2003. Anyway that would solve 2/3 of the puzzle. After all, this might just be wishful thinking but 30th Anniversary= 3 new coasters.

Why take RT just add another one I really don't think they'd take RT down... but a 4D, Flyer and Good Wooden would complete that place... we have plenty already tho

Jut wntd to poi out somethig, somewhere i saw somthig about a 127 foot and a 92 foot 4d is most likelyto not happen. Think bout it.... Batman: the ride is 105 feet.. a 92 foot 4d! and they go slower!! i don't think tha could happen, and same with the 127 foot...i think it'd fo too slow...get one Raven turn and then it'd be like, the end... I think that SFgadv's expansion will be about the same as SFMM's. That does look like alot of land cleared.. And since it is almost sure to be a new section it'd take about a year to complete, test...and everything.cause they have to rewire, do alot f plumbing work (Most likelyto be a bathrom there) pour concrete..for walks...build some coasters and rides. I'm not surprised it started this early.

Also, EDH, It NEVER said this wa a construction thing ONLY for2002, it simply states American coaster construction. And also, since you've seen it,then why on mapquest uis there no land-clearing, that's only 2 years ago.......

Ive heard about the new 4Ds being around 150... that would make more sense... 90-100 wouldn't be good

Actually it did. Look on the front page of the american coasters construction forum. It says:
