Seating for Wicked Twister

I was wondering, How is the seating for Wicked Twister going to be? Im not talking about the actualy car seating, I'm talking about the way they will seat you, I know that Melissa might know, but, im still wondering, Will they let people wnader around to thier own seats, or Do it like they do on Millennium Force, where you are forced to be seated in a specific area, Im guessing it's going to be MF seating, but im curious!

I'm thinking it will have assigned seats, because the line moves faster that way. Wicked Twister needs all the help it can get to minimize lines.

Moving to American Construction, since the ride's still being built...

Well, I don't know for certain, but I agree with Raptor that the seating will most likely be assigned, or at least heavily controlled like Millennium Force was when it opened. For example, they may only allow the 32 people on the platform at once, letting them sort of pick where they'd sit, but all the seats need to be filled. That's what we do with Disaster Transport, to be sure that each shuttle is full, grouping riders and so forth.

I think it will be this way because of the automatic low capacity of the ride, seeing as it only has a single train, etc. Hopefully, they will find some way to load the train swiftly and keep that capacity as high as it can go, so our lines are shorter!

At the ACE X-Mas Party the person from CP said that they would let people pick their own seat.

Yeah but picking your own seat could still mean they are going to do what they do on MF. I hoipe they do something like that because they are gonna need to keep all 32 seats full each run if the lines are even going to be bearable.

"Pick your own seat" doesn't necessarily mean you get to sit where you want. Technically, you get to pick your own seat on Disaster Transport, but if someone else gets to the front seat before you do, you don't get to wait for the next car -- you have to take what's left. So who knows!

I think they'll do it, just like S:UE does it at SFWOA

Hopefully it won't be too unbearable. Well, at least if they do the running of the bulls like with MF, the other rides will have shorter lines. Take what's left is my guess.

Word on the street is that the same assignment policy they use on Millennium Force will also be used on Wicked Twsiter. Which would mean, one could wait for the front or back seats, but the rest of the seats, one can pick on a first come basis.

In 14 days we shall see...

They allow as many people as will fill one train. You can wait for the front or back, but everything other queue can only have one or two people waiting. Sorta dumb if you ask me...

They did that with V2. It's stupid because alot of people go in the front so they have to let extra for middle.

Well, that's part of controlling the crowds on the platform, and it lets operators keep an eye on everyone to be sure that no one is line jumping or shoving their way in wherever they want. I actually prefer this type of loading, because when you get on the platform you can really see where to go rather than just be herded around.

yes it's more comfortable on the platform because you're not shoulder to shoulder with others. But it also almost completely removes your freedom to choose where you want to sit.

It's got it's plusses and minuses. We learned how to work around it, since we wanted the next to last seat. We'd get in the line for the last seat, then when they cleared the people to get on the train we'd hop out of that line and get into line for the next to last seat where we really wanted to ride.

One of the ops wasn't to happy with us, but what are you going to do when you want a seat?

That's exactly why I hate it. We didn't want to wait for the back seat, it was at least 10 cycles deep. So, we got in the 2nd cycle from the second to last. The queue attendant said that there can be no more than 2 for every queue except the front and back, so we got in line for the back and waited.
