Paramount's Kings Dominion Announces 2003 Ride

An Intamin AG Gyro-Drop, yet unnamed, will tower 305' into the Doswell sky will most likely be patterned after the other numerous Drop Zone Stunt Tower attractions at Kings Dominion's sister parks.

The ride will be located in the center of the grove and is expected to open along with PKD's 2003 season.

Rumor says the ride will feature the floorless/tilt system, similar to what is found on Acrophobia. A 300 ft. Acrophobia, that's gotta be crazy. Luckilly, I'm going to PKD in April 2003. I'll be one of the first to get to ride it, I can't wait.

that stinks if its not a tilter but i dont think it will be a stand-up one... if it holeds 56 seats... that would be a BIG-er ring for a stand up car

There are oh so many parks out there I wish I had the ability to visit and they are sounding better every year... Of course, King's Dominion is one of those. But what I can do is move this thread to Construction...
