Intamin Half Pipe

I heard, that Särkänniemi Amusement Park in Finnland will build an Intamin Half Pipe. That is very interesting for me, because i will visit this Theme Park in summer.

My question now is. What is a Intamin Half Pipe? I dont know, what i have to imagine.

thx
Nostra

I havent got a pic. But i try to explain.

The track is like a big U with station in middle. Than the coaster will be shoot out there (i think by LIM). An it goes up, down and then on the other side up, down and so on.

The Special is, that, the seats are moving because there are some forces.

Damn. I go to my favourite Park Särkänniemi in summer 02. So i cant drive this Half Pipe. But Tornado is ok too

The ride looks pretty cool. It looks like a smaller vekoma hammerhead stall. I wonder if that counts as a coaster? Either way, it'd be nice to see one here in the US>

www.vekoma.com

Go to rides, then Hammerhead Stall. It's the same thing.
A U shaped track where the cars go high speed and at the top of the 'towers' then can spin around (like a stalling plane)

Are there gonna be any construction photos or anything? Does anyone on the boards live near the park or have a source near or inside the park?

Roomraider i'm sure will come through with some pictures. That guy has a finger in every pie

i don't think anyone here lives that near it (about 1 hour away probably) but there are loads of sites from people who do. it hasn't started yet anyway.
