| | | PCW 2003: Jump2? WHat do you gusyt hink PCW will get for 2003? I am leanign heavily towards a Jump2 since a pretty reliable source (cgodsey) said that Paramount bought a couple Giants. A frisbvee or Top SPin would be dumb since PCW has rides pretty similar to those, but nothign like a Jump2. It would be a great addition to the park, but...jeez four years without a decent coaster???? Im starting to get sick of flats

Not to say that the ones that they've installed are bad rides, I think they're great but its just too many in one park and one more will be added to the collection next year.
Lets hope the future has something brighter in store for us! |

If you exclude that, the last time a good coaster was put in was Top Gun (a vekoma slc) in 94)....so we're pushing 8 years now. |

| | | I think a Huss Jump2 is pretty awesome. I don't think any other park in the world can compare to the awesome flat rides the park has. And yes a coaster would be great if not better, why doesn't wonderland sell dragon fire or sky rider?

| | Gee, I wonder who found out about the Jump2...
I am really frustrated with the park. I (and many others) have e-mailed the park, asking why no coasters have been added, and every time the answer is something along the lines of "We try to satisfy each demographic, blah, blah", but they never give a real answer, which frustrates me. Maybe it's just me, but I think some sort of high capacity coaster would be good because it would keep the lines moving... bah...

| | | Well we all know the real reason: There is almost no competition (besides sfdl but its 4 hours away). Why spend lots of money when your attendance will stay the same either way? I bet next year we'll get some pathetic excuse for a coaster as a filler until 2005. All I'm saying is that after waiting 6 years...the coaster they build better be damn, and i mean damn good!
P.S. what exactly does a Jump do? Anyone have any pictures or descriptions?

| | | I dont know why you guys are complaing. You guys have 12 coasters which is a lot and now you guys have been getting some of the best flat rides out there not to metion the ones you have had for a while. And dont worry. Im sure you guys are in for a pretty major coaster soon. |

| | | Yes we do have a lot coasters but they arent very good ones, none being world class or even close. It isn't a bad park, but not a great one either. Its just average. It isn't the quantity of rides, its the quality. SFDL has 5 coasters and I like the park a lot better than PCW. It gets annoying when a park as major as PCW keeps adding flat rides and water slides for 4 years in a row and no decent coaster.

| | | Upon hearing of the addition of Psyclone this year, I emailed guest services and voiced my opinion.....their response.......well we're also adding some waterslides.
It doesn't get anymore frustrating than that!
As for selling Skyrider, who would they sell it two. The other Togo standups are slated for removal (if they already haven't been removed)
One other thing....from my source in the park.....attendance is down quite a bit this year! |

| | | Well I don't know how it compares to last year, but I know that on a regular (non bad weather) day, the park has between 20 and 25 thousand people in it. Multiply that times the price of admission, food, merchandise, and they have a pretty penny. Now spend it on a coaster already!!

One other thing....from my source in the park.....attendance is down quite a bit this year! | King Cobra at PKI has been removed and Shockwave at PKD will be removed either after this season or next season. Some less fortunate park would buy a Togo stand-up. King Cobra is supposedly going to Terra Mittica in Spain and Magic Springs in Arkansas is apparently going to be getting a Togo stand-up sometime too.

| | In my opinion they should sell Skyrider, hopefully for scraps! I feel sorry for the unfortunate souls who's homepark gets it . The ride is just slow, boring, painful and has a pathetic capacity. Not too mention it velleyed this year.

Skyrider probably won't be going anywhere. It's in much much better condition than both King Cobra and Shockwave.

| | | Yeah but when you add the valley onto the other crappy points of the coaster it contributes to the argument that it should be removed.
