Im really lost, anyone can clear it up, also post your pictures here for the GIANT FRISBEE atraction coming?? If it even does, or it might be one of many flat rides for next year

SFOG is getting something, even if it is a huss frisbee. They were included in the 4 parks to get a major attraction for 2003.

I've ridden Superman: Ultimate Flight and all i can say is if you are not happy with that, i don't know how much that park will have to invest to please you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the four parks to get a major attraction for 2003 SFGAdv, SFGAm, SFoT, and SFMM?

No, you're mistaken. The four parks that were specifically mentioned for new 2003 attraction(s) were Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Six Flags Great Adventure.

I'm pretty sure the park won't bring in anything new for the 2003 season. Not even a flat-ride. This year's Superman Ultimate Flight combined with last season's introduction of Déjà Vu and Acrophobia should be more than enough to hold the park over for a season.

Well I am almost posotive SFOG will get something. And krakleRIDAH, SFMM gets stuff almost every year, so why do you think that luck wont rub off on SFOG?

A couple of weeks ago, a guy who works at the park (and has for like 20 years said that a wave swinger/yo-yo style ride arrived recently and that management is looking for a good place to put it.

I personally don't feel we'll be recieving a coaster next season because it's been AWFULLY quiet around the park as of next season, and nothing has happened in terms of parts or construction. By this time last season there was a tremendous buzz about next year's ride. It's deathly quiet now though. So I don't think we'll see much of anything. SF Whitewater is slated to get some new stuff too, I think.

im sorry but did everyone forget about the Timewarner lawsuits???? Hint hint, anyway

and btw, EDH, SFMM gets something everyyear, to compete with CedarPoint, does any other sf park get a coaster every year?
and true, 3 different rides in 2 seasons is too much, im not complaining, but there have been lots of rumors, being spread around, last i heard, that a ~210 Beema Hypercoaster, around 5000 ft of track, with one of a kind element, would be arriving soon, but then with the sf stock as down as it was, the project was moved for next year, my source even said they had the complete layout done. then i also heard it would be an INTAMIN MIni hyper isntead of the B&M

Yes, they will get something (as required by the partnership agreement), but I don't hink it will be a major coaster. 2003 will probably be the Monster Plantation rehab to Scooby Doo, and some new flat rides, which the park really needs (there's only a few right now).

There is a substantial chance MP is not getting changed over to Scooby Doo. Hooray. There is a substantial chance it will be overhauled though.

The TW lawsuit has nothing to do with the park itself, only the investors in the park. They got that money, not SFOG. So we don't have it to spend.

Also this time last season there was a LOT of buzz going around about a new coaster, and it's deathly quiet at the park now. This leads me to belive that whatever we get next season (if anything) will not be a coaster.
