Proslide Tornado at MA for 2005

The Park has confirmed that they are adding a proslide tornado for the 2005 season.

http://miadventure.com/main.shtml

I am sort of happy that they got something, but I am dissapointed because I think that they should put some improvements to the park before the water park. But these look really fun, and I am so glad that they are getting something at least.

I too wish they would get something a little more major, but hell, this is good too. when the heck are they gonna get that hyper that will never come?

Ride with some obese people then, it makes it a lot more fun. Seriously.

I believe the ride will be pink & yellow, and will be located west of the boardwalk, between the boardwalk and the Jolly Roger children's area.

From Troy Barnhardt, CIS at Michigan's Adventure

He also said they have some conceptual artwork they are trying to get approved for the park's website.

Really. Splashtown in San Antonio is getting on? or Splashtown in Houston? I would think that it would be Splashtown in Houston, since It is a part of SF. I think. I don't see Splashtown in SA getting one, since SFFT already got one this season.

Here's the latest news from the park (other than all of the campground/hotel/water system stuff):

"Construction plans are still under way for the Funnel of Fear. The pieces are here work should begin soon.

The name of the new concession, it will be called Sundae at the Races! Sundae at the Races will be located on the corner near Corkscrew and BeBop Blvd. At this time we are considering adding an area for seating. It will depend on the budget."

What I don't get is that Sundae at the Races! will be opening right across from an existing ice cream stand, Confection Connection. Is it just me or does this make no sense, or might they be planning on getting rid of Confection Connection?
