November 8th, Six Flags Belgium had their press release for 2005. This contains lot's of news which you can find only here. I can tell you fur sure: a lot of news. That's why I'm going to split up all the headlines on different days. Here we go!
New name:Walibi Belgium
- The kangaroo returns and brings the new name of the park with him: Walibi Belgium.
- New characters in the park: of course our friend
Walibi +
he's girlfriend Walibelle and their baby Walibou,
Bollie and Billie,
Spike and Suzy (Willy and Wanda?) and last but not least
Lucky Luke and the 4 Dalton brothers.

New:
In 2005 the Looney Tunes theater becomes a new attraction:
SpongeBob Squarepants 4D Theater. This theater will get a total revamp: 116 chairs with movingeffects will be added to the room together with a new 3D screen that should create the ultimate 4D effects. The movie is ment for kids till 10 years old but will be enjoyable for everyone of the family.The main show will take about 5 minutes, there is also a preshow with a duration of 5 minutes.

New outdoor amfitheater for the new
'Walibi & Friends Show'
- The Atlantis show will probably leave the park and there are plans for a complete new show.

Expanding of the capacity of the existing rides. For the higher capacity and shorter queues, the park will add extra
vehicles (extra boats for the rapids Radja River and such...) and also
Single Rider Queues for rides such as Challenge of Tutankhamon, Flashback, Loup Garou,...
- The queuing times of the rides will be displayed on boards the rides themselve and in the centre of the park.
- At the Food & Beverage places in the park they will pay more attention for the quality, presentation and service. The park will add a
Food Quality Manager.

Renovation of the existing rides. The most neglected rides in the park, such as Flashback and Calamity Mine will get totally renewed and renovated.
- The 1h15 in Aqualibi won't exist anymore. From 2005 you can visit the swimming paradise during your park visit as long as you want (from 10:00AM till 6:00PM).
To celebrate the return of the kangaroo and the 30th birthday of the park, all he's adventures will be brought out under the shape of a comic book, released in April 2005. Illustrations by Bertrand Dupont and the script by Bob de Groot: known for he's work for TinTin, Robbedoes, Lucky Luke and the 18th album of Clifton.
