Legoland California's getting a new robocoaster. It hints about it in the news article: http://www.usatoday.com/travel/desti...s_x.htm?csp=34 It doesn't say if it will be the new, 4 seater edition that goes on track, or the 2 seater that doesn't follow a track. It says it will be finished by March '05. Let the construction talk begin. |

It will probably be like the Legoland Windsor one where you choose some settings and stuff and a disk pops out, you put it in the reader next to the robo arm, strap in, and your off.

Probably the programmable one. This may finally be a reason to go to this park. Hmmm.

I still have a hard time conceiving this. I have to get to the pics soon.

Well, actually, another legoland got one, so it makes sense. A robotic arm doesn't look as intimidaing as a coaster because it's on the ground. I think the park may try to toughen up some rides a little bit too. That park is midway between Disney and Sea World/SD Zoo, but the park still isn't as popular as the others, so putting in more thrilling rides can help attract more crowds.

Well, if they got the G2, think of the possibilities.
