Europa Park Gets New Theme area and "Supersplah"

Hi
Thats my first post :-) so lets star becaus i think i havent heard something about the great news for Europa Park.

After the big investments of the last years (2002 13 Million Euro for B&M Silver Star, 2004 40 Million for the Hotel Colosseo) Europa Park plans another big investment for 2005
A new Themeare portugal with a new Mack Super Splash Ride.

Facts:
Open: 19th March 2005
Name: Not released
Typ: Super Splash from Mack
Hight: 30m
Lenght: 390m
Boats: 5 Boats with 16 Seats
Speed: 80 km/h
Investment for the Ride: 5 Million Euro

The Ride will be open in 2005 and the whole theming will be finished in 2006.

Don't they already have a water coaster? Poseidon?

yes they have Poseidon but there are queing lines about 3 hours in summer so they built a alterative ride...
after the lifthill the boat will be turn around and before the drop again.

will it be similar to the water coaster at SF america in Maryland? at the top of the hill the boats turn around on that to and it looks similarly themed.

I have been here, it's the Mack test park. Poseidon is fun, so this should be too.

I have never been on a water coaster before. They look fun. Glad that yall are getting something new. (again)
