| | OK, it seems like Geauga Lake has started to pick up the pace with the construction of Wildwater Kingdom...If you go here: http://www.geaugalake.com/public/new/2005/webcam.cfm, and check out the webcam you can already see part of the Liquid Lightning structure forming in the background as well as some of the footers that were just being filled yesturday.
Also, if you check out http://www.geaugalake.com/public/new/2005/photos.cfm there is a very large update showing off construction of Riptide Run's walls and the assembling of Splash Landing. It also seems as if the footers for Thunder Falls are finished and we should see the structure going up soon. There is also some misc. photos showing off the retheming of the WWK entrance, the painting of Thunderhawk, Raging Wolf Bobs retracking and some misc. construction. I suggest that everyone check it out because things are coming together, even if it hasn't happened as soon as we hoped. I just hope the park is done by June so my plans going there are interfered with. |

| | Actually it's supposed to open in two months... But I doubt it's going to open until June. |

| | | It's nice to see the deconstruction is almost done...Hopefully the short time frame these guys have will motivate them to hurry it up a bit. I just hope the thing is done in June, that's all I care. |

| | I hate to go providing links to my site, but I think this may also be of interest to some. http://www.geaugaguide.com/timelapse/
There are some timelapse movies I have created from compiling groups of images from Geauga Lake's webcam (so obviously I hold no copyright on the end product). If you have spare time, I'd suggest watching the latest movie which shows how the supports for Liquid Lightining are coming together as well as some things for Riptide Run. It's pretty cool stuff. |

| | | Has anyone heard if the RWB will be completed by opening day, May 7th. If not, that would be 2 years in a row that it would be closed on day 1 of the season |

| | | If anyone's seen the latest construction pics on the official website, Lethal Lightning was put onto it's footers so we should see the slide finished pretty soon. As for RWB, I doubt it'll be open on season opener. They did a whole retracking and that takes time, and it doesn't look like they're quite done yet. Like that, I also don't think WWK will be open on time either. |

| | | I wouldn't know either way.
I drove past the park on the backroad a week ago. The water slides were not together; Raging Wolf Bob's was being retracked; and Serial Thriller looked like hell. Red and yellow?!?!

| | | Well I just got a email from Geauga Lake announcing that the scheduled opening for WW, May 28th, has been delayed a few weeks to mid-late June. Ouch. |

| | | Does anyone know if the slide complex on the other side of the wave pool (Shark Attack I think) is being relocated next year or if they are just scrapping it since they are getting 2 or 3 new slide complexes next year. Those are relatively new like the other one, and Six Flags just put those in 2002 I think so I doubt they'd just scrap them. As for other slides, does anyone know if the speed slides next to Hook's Lagoon have been removed because I haven't see any pics of them. Seems like they took them out to make room for the Lakeside Pavilions. |

Looks like Lethal Lightning's funnel is done and they are starting to work their way up now. I'm hoping Geauga Lake posts another update on the 16th like the pattenrs going so far. It's look so good right now. |
