The channel tunnel (eurostar - chunnel is just a nickname kind of) high speed service offers london to paris or waterloo . By going to paris though (Gard de nord ('north station')) you can connect to the french TGV and go pretty much anywhere.

The closest theme park to london is chessington and thorpe park. Both are in london, thorpe park is only 10-15mins from heathrow airport (main international airport but there are 3 others) and chessington is only 20mins train ride from the centre (thopre is about 30mins from the centre). AT is about 2 hrs drive from london and blackpool another hour (3-3.5). Flamingoland and lightwater are about 3.5 hrs from london. fantasyland is about 3 hrs.

Amsterdam has this reputation, although i haven't been there, i would say there are better places. Barcelona in northen spain is probably my favourite european city. Paris is well worth visiting

That's one thing that I've been so impressed with Europe is the train system there.

Americans are so stinking attached to their cars. I'd rather catch a train into downtown any day. Oh well, at least I have a loverly "express" bus. lol

Barcelona always would've been my first choice in Europe, and you can ask my mom that. Rome next, then Paris, then London.

Anyway, if I were to go to a theme park while I am in London, if I go anytime soon, it would be Thorpe.

you would have to drive to AT, you can get the train but its very expensive and takes forever because it dosn't go that near the park.

Well, I got no plans to go to Europe annytime soon. The soonest will be summer 08, when I'm 18. Unless my mom takes me earlier.

is that likely? Its easy enough to do, just expensive. you won't be able to hire a car at 18 so going with a parent or someone like that will be easier, also getting hotel bookings and things like that. that is a long time, i will have grauadted (hopefully)and moved away from london (probably) by that time!

I don't especially but its stupidly expensive to live in london or in the home counties (the counties that surround london). Even if i get a decent job, to start off with, it probably won't pay enough. I could afford it, but all my wages would go on renting a house or room.

Also i just want to live somewhere different, another country probably like spain. For a start its warmer! But it'd just be nice to live in a different place.

Or NYC. In NYC, there are sections for literally everything. There's Eastern European around the Brooklyn Queens broder area, there's Italian around Williamsburg, Oriental in lower Manhattan and Lower Brookyln. Russian right near Coney Island, Groumet stuff all over Manhattan, there's everything. I believe there is a large Arabic section too, Not sure where though. Either Queens or Bronx. So, yeah, NYC has a little of everything. And it's close to GAdv (1 hour).

Dosn't mean i would get a choice in where i go. its a long way off, just see what happens.

Well, I'm arrogant. I can be chauvenistic too but there are ladies around.
btw, Southern Poland is the same, if not higher, lattitude than Mocow. All of Russia and surrounding countries are very cold. And I guess NYC is too. And so is Chicago. So......I'm moving to San Diego! No, guess not.

So then, if the layout of this SLC is a clone, why is it custom? And what is the layout like?

Switzerlands awesome, and so is Germany, but you'd have to learn the language, but it's worth it.
