I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned it here already. Lake Compounce is currently constructing "Anchor Bay", a lazy river water attraction that will open in 2005. The ride will be located between the Croc Pot / Starlite Ballroom building and the lake. More details, news articles, etc., can be found on the lakecompounce.org forums.

On an unrelated note, next year Lake Compounce will also be adding Mini Melts Rocks to the existing Mini Melts concessions. These are Mini Melts (better-tasting Dippin' Dots) with Pop Rocks mixed in, creating a pellet ice cream that explodes in your mouth.
