StoryLand in NH is getting a new ride

storyland in NH for the 4th or 5th year in a row is getting a new ride. in 2005 they will open a new ride. but they have yet to say what kind of ride it will be.

from the parks web site.

There’s always something new at Story Land, and 2005 will be no exception. Sometimes – although not very often at Story Land – to make room for something new, something old disappears. Can you tell what’s missing from this hillside photo taken in mid-November? Some hints: that’s the Polar Coaster to the right, and the Cuckoo Clockenspiel up on the hilltop to the left. Does the photo make you Wonder? Don’t worry if a thought Swirls in your head, we’ll post the answer up here in December, and we’ll keep you posted on what’s going on in its place as we get close to spring.

I've been to story land many times. nfact I posted this news on canobie fan.

What I can tell you is that was were Hidi's grandfathers house was. the land is about quorter to half an acre since tthey jsut opened up the intire top side of the hill. I'm asuming the goats will be moved as well.

I emailed the park and hope to get an answer back soon.

Hey sfne stinks I lived in New England almost all my life and I never heard of this park. Is this on Benson's old site or is it older then them too I thought I new it all about NE but I thought wrong. What is it near. I have a long list of small parks I would like to see like when I am making a bigger trip and perhaps take a peak at this too.

According to the Canobiefan.com forum, the new Story Land "ride" for 2005 is a Moroccan-themed restaurant.

On a related note, Canobie Lake Park is currently constructing a new clam shack restaurant (should I post it as a new topic?)
