Well this will cost 7 tickets and Great White (the CCI) and The Great Nor'Easter (SLC) cost 8 ticets so there is a chance it could be a coaster. But a speedy compact one. One that won't be too expensive or they would not be charging less than the other coasters.

^^ I agree. Sounds almost like a drop tower. Do they have one already at MP?

Also Anyone that has been there, how long does it take to do all the piers?

Are they all together or do you have to catch the trams inbetween?

I saw part of it on a TV special, but they didn't give enough depth.

Final question, how far of a drive is this from Astro Land on Coney Island? I'm wanting to do a NE trip at some point and just want an idea of what I'm looking at. Thanks

To walk all three piers would take a while...its a pretty big boardwalk. It could very well be a drop tower rider maybe an s&s twin towe like dominator at dorney. Atmosfear doesn't sound like a coaster but then it could be anyway.

you can walk from pier to pier but there is a tram. for those of you familiar with the board walk the tram goe "watch the tram car please, watch the tram car please". it is hard to miss the tram.

It is a drop tower. I heard somewhere but I can't remember. The name is awesome and it describes it very well. It would be a perfect ride and they don't take up any space.

Trams make it easier. Coney Island is in Brooklyn, not LI. It's a combination of Russian and Oriental area of Brooklyn. Fun though, and a nice bech with alot of sand, so that alot of people can be there.

If you don't take the trams it can be a long walk, this is on 25th avenue pier, now it will be my favorite lineup there, great nor easter, zoom phloom and atmosfear.

Coney Island is pretty legnthy by subway from most party of the 5 boroughs. It's still Brooklyn, Kings county, not a county of LI that isn't one of the 5 boroughs.

Back to topic, I think it'll be a double shot, like the one in Keansburg.

The walk between the piers isn't that bad. I'd say it's about a 5 minute walk at most. You can do all the piers and all the main rides in about 4 hours I'd say. Several times, I go to both water parks and ride all of the major rides several times. And that all takes about a day.

Yea, I agree with how you do it. It's nicer to stay down at Cape MAy, and then take one day up at Wildwood, with the beach in the morning, and then afternoon and nite for rides. That park is so cool looking at nite.

They have 2 sky coasters and one of those slingshot ball rides and also a skyscraper. Does anyone remember the flat ride there that was kind of like rip cord?? it was all green with a yellow tip what happened to it?

You mean SkyScraper?
http://www.moreyspiers.com/rides_search_results.php

you have to scroll down, but there is a pic. It's got the yellow car at the end.

if not, I think I remember there being something like a bungee jumping tower. It wasn't tooooo high, but it was a pretty tall platform. I don't know what ever happened to it though.

I meant NE (New England) as in the region. :P New York and New Jersey are still part of New England aren't they ????

And back on the ride...

Atmosphere is one of the levels of our Ozone layers for lack of a better tern, stratosphere, etc... (can't think at 7:59am)

Anyway, so that's like way up in the air, so maybe they are going for that angle, so if that's the case a drop tower sounds likely.

I remeber that bungee jumping tower! I always said when I was younger I was going to try it. Then we stopped going top Cape May and Wildwood for some reason, and now it's gone.A drop tower would be a good addition to Morey's Pier. I think it would be a Chance one like at Gillian's Wonderland Pier at Ocean City, NJ.

Thank goodness you made that call. We must preserve regional integrity.
Indeed PA, NJ, and NY are not NE states. NY is just on the edge of it. PA,NJ,NY could be classified as NorthEast states or Mid-Atlantic states I believe.

Anyways, I think the name AtmosFear would more likely imply a drop tower experience. The sheer force of being shot up can shoot a jolt of excitement and feeling of touching those edges of the atmosphere.

Here's another option, a Huss Giant Frisbee or Topple Tower, although I'm not sure if TT is in production yet.

If my math is correct:

140ft + 50MPH = Wheeeee!

This should be a good addition, never been there before, but it sounds like a fun place.
