Why do they always recycle rides? Most of the rides that they have now, or that they are getting they have had. If they kept all the rides that they had in the past the park would be huge. It's not like they don't have the land.

I hope so you mean the double ferris wheel right?

Yeah in order to get the park back like it was when the owners that own it now once owned it they need the following.

Double ferris wheel.
Spider
Glass House
Black Hole (rotor type ride)
Classic bumper cars (same ride diferent cars.)
Reopen the second level of Castle
classic paddle boats, pontoon models, and reopen the entire lake to them.
The swings (we know they are gettin those)
Kiddie hand cycles
(thats all I know in my lifetime though I KNOW theres is more)

Thats not counting the rides that are gone the carnival company had brought in. Top spin, Magic carpet, tea cups, etc.

I'd rather see parks buy used rides than see them scrapped.

As far as saying that they are buying rides that they already had I have no idea since I didn't know Lake Winnie existed until about 4 years ago. lol

Never said it was not sold. Just wanted to pass along that it was still at its former home about a month ago.

I dont know why they do that, as a matter of fact I dont think they sell alot of their rides when they dismantle them. Next time you go walk off the path past the picnic area, most the time noone will say anything to you. follw the train track just a little behind the boat chut and you will see a huge building with parts of rides and collapsed rides. its strange.

Well, I've never noticed the building before. Sounds interesting.

What is that house where the boat chute goes by? Does somebody live there? It would be weird because the ride is right there and it's extremely loud.

yes I have HEARD my whole life that the house by the boat chute is used for a day house while the park is open by the owners. Their real house is located on the gravel road you travel down on the back side parking lot near the cannonball.

They just announced education days.
Though I am 30 years old and way out of school I think this is a great idea. I wished other parks did this. I just hope this isnt one of the four additions, lol

Oh, haha. Must be pretty loud, but smart since you won't have to drive over there all the time.

And I've seen that house that used to be the back entrance. It's a nice little spot. Far enough not to hear anything, but close enough to see all the action.
